People have just worked out why Will Smith's kids are called Willow and Jaden
Social media users have worked out the reason behind Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's kids' names.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor, 57, married Jada, 54, in 1997 after around two years of dating and they went on to welcome son Jaden in 1998, followed by daughter Willow in 2000.
While for some fans it's obvious why the couple chose their children's names, others have only just come to realise that both monikers are clever variations of Will and Jada's names.
Taking to social media, fans shared their disbelief over only just figuring it out despite Will and Jada having been in the spotlight for decades.

"I was today years old when I realized jaden and willow smith’s names are just their parents names in different forms???? Goodbye," one person said.
Another commented: "I feel so dumb for just realizing that willow and jaden smith’s names are just variations of their parent’s names."
“Please I’ve just realized after your tweet, I thought they were just random names,” a third wrote.
Someone else added: “Will Smith=Willow Smith, Jada Smith= Jaden Smith, I don’t know how I never realized."
Both Willow, 25, and Jaden, 28, have followed in their parents' footsteps and carved out careers in the spotlight.
Willow is a musician and actress, who has released eight solo albums and starred alongside her famous father in 2007's I Am Legend.
Similarly, Jaden has appeared in films The Pursuit of Happyness and After Earth alongside dad Will. He is also a rapper, singer and dancer, as well as the creative director of Christian Louboutin Men's.
Will is also father to son Trey, 33, with his first wife Sheree Zampino, who he was married to from 1992 until 1995.
While he has gone by the name Trey from a young age, the 33-year-old is actually named after his father, with his full name being Willard Smith III. Will's full name is Willard Carroll Smith II.
Fans were also surprised to find this out, with a social media user writing: "I thought his name was Trey this whole time just found out today that Trey is his nickname because he's the 3rd Willard Smith."
Trey is a DJ who goes by the stage name AcE and he released his debut album Best Wishes back in 2020.
Like his younger half-siblings, he has also ventured into acting, appearing on TV shows including the sitcom All of Us.
Trey has a close bond with both Willow and Jaden as well as step-mum Jada, and regularly joins the family at events and awards ceremonies.
