Rebel Wilson fans baffled after learning what her siblings names are

Fans of actor Rebel Wilson have been left baffled upon discovering the bizarre names of her three siblings.

The Australian’s full name is Rebel Melanie Elizabeth Wilson and she is the eldest of three siblings. But just like the Pitch Perfect star's name, the three Wilson sisters’ monikers are also quite a mouthful.

Talking to the Daily Telegraph in 2011, Wilson, 43, said that her parents are pretty conservative. This is despite giving all younger members of the clan striking names.

“People ask if my parents are hippies, but they’re actually very conservative,” she said.

On the origins of her own name, Wilson told the publication, “A girl called Rebel sang at [my parent's] wedding and that's where my name came from. My three siblings and I all have middle names after English royalty. Mine is Elizabeth, which is what I was known as at school.”

Like Wilson previously says, the unique names given to her younger siblings are all inspired by England and royalty.

Liberty Mair, 41 who is apparently named after the English department store Liberty London, is the closest to Wilson’s age. She was born just two years after in 1982.

According to The Guardian, Liberty said she loved her name and ‘wanted to keep that tradition going’ by calling her own children by unique names too.

Apparently, friends and family had to talk her out of using ‘Disney’ as a first name for her daughter.

“She [my daughter] does some baby modelling and for that, she uses the name Sovereign Wilson,” Liberty said back in 2017.

Wilson’s brother, who was born in 1988, goes by Ryot. This is thought to be a play on ‘Riot’ while her youngest sister, Annachi was born in 1992.

Annachi’s real name is Annaleise. However, she prefers to be called Annachi, which is extremely similar to the word ‘anarchy’.

Apparently, during Rebel Wilson’s 2015 defamation suit against Bauer Media, it was revealed that Wilson and co. used to call Annachi “on the leash”. This is reportedly a cheeky reference to their mother’s love for dogs.

After finding out the names of Wilson’s siblings, fans have flocked to Twitter and they’re all saying the same thing.

One user wrote, “Liberty, Anarchy & Riot are the names of Rebel Wilson’s siblings. How f***** badass is that family?”

Another said, “Excuse me Rebel Wilson’s siblings are called what now? Damn, I wanna meet those parents.”

A third chimed in and simply posed the question, “Who is in charge of naming that family?”

In November 2022, Wilson revealed her newborn baby's name to be Royce Lillian Elizabeth Wilson.

According to People she said, “I wanted an original name starting with the letter ‘R’ so eventually landed on that one.”
