People are flocking to social media in disbelief after Salt Bae was recorded allegedly speaking on his AirPods while serving a customer.

Prepare to weep over the amount of money lost on this experience:

With his London restaurant having been ranked one of the worst places to eat in the city and one of his steaks coming in at a whopping £850, it's hardly a surprise anymore when viral celebrity chef Salt Bae's food hits the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

What is surprising however, is that someone would still travel and pay $600 to go and eat at one of Nusret Gökçe's restaurants. But each to their own.

One TikToker visited Salt Bae's restaurant in Doha, Qatar but was left far from satisfied, reviewing the establishment and experience as an overall 1.7 out of 10. Ouch.

But what could have possibly gone quite so wrong?

In the video, posted by content creator Ehtisham Aziz, Salt Bae can be seen coming to the table to cut up the customer's steak - for a mere $600 extra of course.

Aziz reviewed the experience as a -20 out of 10, with the TikToker claiming Salt Bae was even 'talking to someone on his AirPods at [the] table'.

"Super disrespectful (-100000/10)," they added.

However, Salt Bae did momentarily redeem himself and the restaurant by performing the classic move which saw him go viral in the first place.

"Pretty cool saltbae meme moment irl 10/10," the TikToker wrote, as the chef 'fed his brother his meat'.

But alas, the moment didn't last for long, with the chef then apparently throwing the TikToker's 'cousin's ball away' when the table 'asked for a signature'.

The Baklava didn't help boost the review either, described by Aziz as looking unappetising and it's presentation a severely low -5/10.

Alongside a clip of himself appearing to be having words with Salt Bae, the TikToker resolved: "I would not recommend. Waste of money and extremely rude staff."

The TikToker reviewed the whole experience as a 1.7 out of 10.

Viewers have been left in stitches, as well as disbelief, over the review of Salt Bae's Qatar restaurant.

One TikToker said: "'He fed my brother his meat' [laughing emoji]."

"Bro is wearing AirPods while cutting the meat," another added.

A third commented: "U payed $600 just for some dude to cut your steak lol."

A fourth user questioned: "Why do ppl keep going back to this place…"

And a final user joked that desperate times call for desperate measures and Salt Bae is 'probably on the phone to Fifa apologising for his behaviour after the WC final' - with the chef having been banned from attending the US Open Cup after his stunt at the FIFA 2022 Qatar World Cup final.

LADbible has contacted Salt Bae's representatives for comment.
