Scarlett Moffatt ended up meeting the man who would become the father of her new baby after calling 999 because of something creepy outside her house.
No, it wasn’t her partner Scott, he turned up because he’s a police officer.
The 24-year-old Gogglebox star announced the birth of a healthy baby boy yesterday, sharing some cute snaps featuring the whole family on Instagram.
“Jude Xavier Dobinson, My darling boy I can’t stop crying looking at you as I can’t quite believe you’re mine,” she wrote.

“You wanted to meet us early at just 35 weeks.
“Me & your daddy love you so much that I can’t even put this feeling into words.
"Our heart and soul feels complete & ready to burst. I will forever and always be grateful to be your mammy…”
As heartwarming a scene as this is, the circumstances at the start of her relationship with Scott weren’t quite as sweet.
She’d called up 999 because she thought she’d seen someone lurking in her front garden.
While the pair had known each other for a while, it wasn’t until after this chance encounter – Scott came to answer the call, he wasn’t in the garden – that the pair started flirting.
In a previous interview, Scarlett told The Mirror: "Scott came to the house. My friend was in the house with me at the time and I was like, 'He's so fit, I really fancy him'.
"She said, 'Why don't you just comment on a picture on Facebook?' So I commented on a picture of him and his dog Toby and put, 'Ah, cute... and the dog'."
It took a while for things to properly get going, though.
The I’m a Celebrity star explained: “Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong.
"The place we were going to eat at wasn't open and he made a joke about taking me to McDonald's which I didn't know was a joke.
"He told me I reminded him of Albert Einstein, so I was like, ‘Nah, I think we’re just best as friends’.
"It was my mam that went, ‘I’ve got a good feeling, I think you should give him another chance’ – so I’m pleased she did.
"With Scott, obviously I fancy him, but he’s just a lovely person.
“It’s taken me a while to get used to not having drama."
The pair seemed to be doing great, but then split up for a time in 2021, before she deleted a post announcing the split, and it seemed to go away.
Afterwards, she offered some sense of explanation, writing: "For anybody moving house, I think I speak on behalf of me and Scott, it's very stressful. It is very stressful."
Anyway, it seems like all of that is now behind them, and they’re ready to take another step into their relationship, with the addition of a new baby.
