Cristiano Ronaldo was been left stunned after discovering that he's been able to reverse his age by over a decade.
The footballing legend, 40, is currently lighting up the Saudi Arabian league with Al-Nassr, scoring 33 goals for the side's current campaign. His time in the Saudi Pro League follows successful spells at Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus, where he's won pretty much every major trophy there is to win.
And, if his biological age is anything to go by, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner doesn't need to worry about slowing down anytime soon.

Ronaldo recently opened up about how his extremely strict diet and sports regime has been able to turn back the clock in a recent interview with fitness brand Whoop – and his results are pretty impressive.

Following a series of medical tests conducted by Whoop, the striker was informed that he had a biological age of 28.9, which means he is physiologically 11 years younger than his actual age.
Pretty impressive.
Despite being previously told that his body is a decade younger than his actual age Ronaldo was pleasantly surprised by the news, telling Whoop podcast host Will Ahmed: "I can’t believe my age is 28.9 years."

Ronaldo then floated the idea of extending his career by another decade, adding: "That means I’m going to be playing football for another 10 years!"
Regardless of whether Ronaldo is able to expand his career by another decade or not, the Portuguese star has already managed to outlast the majority of his contemporaries, considering that most footballers tend to retire between the ages of 34 and 36.
So, how does he do it?

Cristiano Ronaldo's diet and lifestyle, explained
In what's likely to be a surprise to absolutely no one, Ronaldo has been able to maintain his exceptional physique through a particularly strict diet and lifestyle regimen.

The footballer is widely reported to follow a particularly intense training regime, which includes exercising up to four hours a day as well as making multiple trips to the gym in order to stay on top of his cardio and strength.
"He's always training, with the team or at home. He's obsessive about taking care of his body. He takes care of his body as if it were a Ferrari," Spanish journalist Santiago Segurola said of Ronaldo in 2018.
Although, working out on its own isn't going to give you the Ronaldo body, as CR7 also has access to top nutritionists to make sure he's following an optimum diet.

"A good workout must be combined with a good diet," he previously stated (via GOAL).

"I eat a high protein diet, with lots of wholegrain carbs, fruit and vegetables, and avoid sugary foods."
Add this to the fact that the striker likely has a team of people ensuring his body is able to get optimum amounts of recovery in-between games - he is said to be fond of an early morning ice bath - and you can understand why Ronaldo is seems to be more machine than man.
