A UK pub chain is giving away free drinks for the Women's World Cup final.

The highly-anticipated World Cup final is set to commence 11am tomorrow morning (20 August) between England and Spain.

It's no surprise that many footy fans will be eager to rock up to a sports bar to catch the momentous occasion and celebrate - or commiserate - with fellow supporters.

Well, Brits will be happy to know that one particular pub chain is rolling out the big guns for the special day after promising bevs free of charge with all our fingers crossed that the Lionesses bring it home.

If the team does win, they'll be granted the historical accolade of becoming the first English side to take home the World Cup trophy in 57 years.

Michelle West, head of sport marketing for Greene King said: "The team has performed incredibly over the course of the tournament, and we’re so excited for the final against Spain this Sunday.

"This is the first time any England football team has been in a World Cup final since 1966 so we want to throw the ultimate celebration in all of our 900+ Sport pubs."

There is one teeny tiny requirement though.

West explains: "We're asking fans to head to their local Greene King Sports pub and show their colours in support of the team, literally – all you need to do is wear England colours, kit or face paint and you can grab yourself a free drink.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to get behind the team and continue to boost the profile of women's sport in the UK, so join us for the ultimate party this weekend."

Be sure to swing past your local Greene King for a celebratory free drink.

The exciting offer will be available to freebie lovers between 11am - 2pm on Sunday, and the drink included in the deal isn't just your average pint.

Oh no.

Punters will have the option to choose from a whole selection of different options including; cask ales, lagers, craft beers, wines, spirits, and mixers.

So, whether you take your fancy from the six different types of cask ale, knock back one of the chain's 14 different lagers on tap, opt for a cheeky Strongbow Dark Fruits or maybe a vino instead - you'll definitely be able to find your tipple.

Spirits will be served in single measures with a mixer thrown in also.

So, be sure to have a gander at where your nearest Green King boozer is by using the locator tool on the chain's website and get those bevs in.

Go on Lionesses!
