Conor McGregor shared an ominous warning ahead of the Jake Paul-Anthony Joshua match that would make anyone feel on edge.
YouTuber Paul, 28, came face-to-face with his opponent, former two-time heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua, 36, on Thursday (18 December) for their final weigh-in ahead of their fight this evening (19 December).
Fans got their first taste of what the match will be like, with Joshua saying: "I'll just outclass this kid. I'm a serious fighter. That's the difference. I'm a serious, serious fighter," after weighing in at 17st 3lb.
"You’re going to get f**ked up," he went on. "It is what it is. We can do another face off but I just believe I’m going to smash him. I’m gonna smoke your boy."

Former Disney Channel star Paul, who weighed in at 15st 4lb, said: "The pressure’s on him. I’m fighting free. I’ve already won, this is a lose-lose situation for him. I’ve got him in the corner right where I want him.
"I’m here to show the world what’s possible, to show kids what’s possible with self belief. This is what this fight’s about."
However, despite talking a big game, Paul might have a reason to be intimidated.
Weighing in two stone less than his opponent, MMA fighter Conor McGregor gave his thoughts on how Paul could fare in the bout - and it doesn't sound good.
McGregor, a two-weight UFC champion who last year lost a case against a woman who accused him of rape, is fearful about Paul’s safety.
“I have set the odds for Anthony Joshua to KO Jake Paul inside the first 60 seconds at 11/1," McGregor wrote on X, referring to his new betting company.
“I have not placed my own personal bet on this match yet I have only just set the odds. I do like ‘KO in first 60seconds’ at 11/1 tho. It’s now about how much / what else?
"A colossal sum on an outright win is good too. $5m would return win $5.6m. This is an absolute layup fight. It is not fixed also I know Matchroom. Jake is stupid and will be altered permanently from this bout.
"I can’t just sit idly by and watch it happen without making a cool profit from it too."
The fight has been widely criticised over safety concerns and the size difference between the two fighters; however, it was sanctioned as a professional contest.

Paul has only shown confidence in public ahead of the fight, as you would expect.
“Let’s f**king go, bro, let’s put on a show for the fans, let’s go to war,” he said at the press conference.
It has recently been confirmed that the upcoming bout will largely stick to regular boxing rules, which will consist of eight rounds, each three minutes long and both men wearing regulation 10oz gloves.
For fans in the UK, the fight will take place in the early hours of the morning of Saturday, 20 December 2025, live on Netflix, while the pair are expected to make their ring walk at around 3:30am.
