Jake Paul has been called 'embarrassing' after bringing out a controversial guest during his walkout before tonight's fight against Anthony Joshua.
It was already going to be the biggest fight of Paul's short boxing career by some distance, as he prepared to face the former heavyweight champion in Miami.
Of course, the former YouTuber was always going to make it a night to remember, promising that he would give Joshua a real fight, whereas the Watford-born heavyweight was confident it would be over quickly.
While Joshua came out solo in a camouflage jacket, Paul's entrance was far more flamboyant, and fans who'd predicted his musician guest after he dropped a rainbow clue turned out to be absolutely right, as he brought out controversial rapper 6ix9ine.

As the YouTuber-turned-boxer, who was wearing a tracksuit inspired by the late Hulk Hogan, made his way to the ring, 6ix9ine could be seen rapping his song 'Billy' beside him.
While fans had predicted that Hernandez would be joining Paul, many weren't too impressed, as one person said: "Jake Paul walking out with Takashi 6ix9ine rapping might be the most cringe combo in sports history."
Another wrote: "Jake Paul walking out to 6ix9ine music in 2025 as if that will scare Anthony Joshua."
In response to someone's tweet about the overall fight, a third responded: "Coming out w/ 6ix9ine is embarrassing enough."
What makes things even stranger is that the two have had prior beef, with Paul saying in 2021 that the rapper 'deserves to get his a** beat'.

"I want to do it for all the people he’s disrespected but honestly would be too easy and a 30-second fight + he wouldn’t show up in the ring on the day of the fight," he wrote on his Instagram Story at the time.
"But yes, I would love to knock him out."
In 2018, 6ix9ine, real name Daniel Hernandez, pleaded guilty to crimes he was involved in during his time as a gang member, and he received a prison sentence of two years the following year, but he was released after several months during the height of the Covid pandemic in 2020.
This month, he was sentenced to three more months in prison after violating the terms of his supervised release for assaulting a man and drug possession, according to ABC News.
The judge told Hernandez: "From time to time, your actions suggest that you believe that ordinary rules don’t apply to you," believing that another prison sentence would send a message to the musician.
