Manchester United's Marcus Rashford has taken to social media to address fans after being involved in a car accident.

On Saturday, 23 September, the 25-year-old footballer returned to Manchester United's Carrington training ground with the rest of his team after their 1-0 Premier League win against Burnley.

Rashford then left in his white Rolls Royce, however, not long after leaving to reportedly drive home, he was involved in a crash.

Video and images of the incident emerged on social media of Rashford's white Black Badge Wraith Rolls Royce - totalling a whopping £700,000 - spotted on the side of the road. Parts of the vehicle look very much worse for wear in the background as police officers redirected traffic and passersby.

Thankfully, Rashford walked away from the crash unharmed, and no ambulances were reported as being required. A source told the Sun he was left 'shaken' but with no 'serious injuries'.

However, the area did remain cornered off until yesterday morning, with cones and barriers around a lamp post which fell down in the collision, alongside other debris.

The incident was attended to by police.

Yesterday (Sunday, 24 September), Rashford uploaded images to Instagram from the Man U match against Burnley to celebrate his team's win.

The first image shows him and captain Bruno Fernandes embracing on the pitch - Fernandes having attended the scene of the crash on Saturday in support of Rashford.

The caption reads: "Three points on the road! I’m alright guys thanks for the messages."

Fans of the football star are flocking to the post to give their well wishes.

One said: "I hope you get back to your form ASAP. My best wishes and all support to you."

"Glad your okay, that’s the main thing," another added.

A third commented: "I was in a bus crash last year side got hit by a lorry slowly luckly but it does shake you."

And a final resolved: "You are a great man.Hope you have high spirits after the accident."

A spokesperson for Manchester United told Manchester Evening News: "Marcus was involved in a collision with another vehicle on his way home from Carrington last night. Both drivers walked away unhurt. No ambulance was required."

Sky News also reports no arrests have been made.

Manchester United - currently ninth in the Premier League - are next set to take on Crystal Palace on Saturday, 30 September at 3:00pm.
