Sex sells, even in the sports world - so given how skint an Olympic bid can make you, Kurts Adams Rozentals decided to capitalise on his status as a star canoeist by joining OnlyFans.
However, one of the elite athlete's social media posts which promoted his saucy side hustle has ended up 'costing him his canoeing career'...for now, at least.
The 23-year-old has been banned from competing and training for two-years by Paddle UK after a disciplinary panel found an 'explicit' video he shared in March had brought the sport into 'serious disrepute'.
Speaking to LADbible, Rozentals, 23, has revealed whether the price he has paid for sharing the post was worth the profits that he made from the clip.

The British canoeist claims that the real issue at hand is actually 'athlete funding', or more specifically, the lack of it, rather than the risqué posts he uploaded.
Rozentals, who has dedicated his life to canoeing, had hoped to represent the country at the 2028 Olympics - but felt his dream was slipping through his fingers as the funding he received was simply just not cutting it.
The most recent sum that he received from Paddle UK to subsidise his pursuit of achieving glory on the world stage was £16,000, for the entire year.

"The funding was not increasing, but everything else was getting way more expensive," Rozentals told LADbible. "I was like, ‘I have to do something, or I'm going to have to just quit this Olympic dream.'"

Enter OnlyFans, which has been dubbed a financial saviour by thousands of folks who flog adult content on there.
"I was sitting on the start line and I'm worried about how to pay rent," Rozentals said of how cash constraints began to impact his training. "It just really removes all the joy. So then I decided, I’m going to launch [OnlyFans]."
He joined the platform in December, and claims to have raked in more than £100,000 between January and May.
It doesn't take a genius to work out that these earnings make the £16,000 he received from Paddle UK pale in comparison.
The athlete said he has been enjoying 'an influx' of visitors to his OnlyFans after news of his ban broke, as people inevitably want to get the gory details on what led to him being forbidden from competing.

According to Rozentals, the contents of the video that he shared to Instagram 'wasn't anything that crazy' and he believes that a 'bigger deal' has been made out of it than needed.

The 23-year-old said that it still abided by the social media platform's policies, despite it later being removed from his profile.
Given that he's on a moving aircraft and alluding to getting his freak on in the 'plane video', it obviously attracted a lot of attention - which converts to cash, if you're an OnlyFans star.
Explaining his losses and gains, Rozentals told LADbible: "It's cost me my canoeing career. But what that video made...

"In a couple hours, I think it was like four or five thousand. Something like that, which is crazy amounts of money. As someone who grew up with absolutely no money whatsoever, it's crazy."
Despite making some seriously fast cash from the footage, the canoeist says that the plane clip 'wasn't his highest earning video by any means'.
Rozentals explained that prior to launching his OnlyFans, he was posting 'motivational' content online and had been visiting schools around the UK to 'inspire kids to get into sport'.
"But it just sadly wasn't getting attention," he said. "What gets attention on social media these days? It’s not spreading positivity. Don’t hate the player, hate the game, I guess."
"I've gotten a lot of heat about [OnlyFans], but I don’t regret it. It's allowed me to put food on the table and enjoy training. I just got to figure out, one way or another, how to get to the Olympics now."

The athlete explained he was raised by a single mother who 'sacrificed everything in her life to give him the opportunities to chase his dream'.
"She did whatever it takes," Rozentals continued. "And I think that mindset kind of got instilled into me. It's about doing what needs to be done to achieve something.
"Most of the other athletes on the program, they are funded by their parents. I was never in the same position as the more privileged kids."
Revealing how he has been using his earnings from OnlyFans, Rozentals said: "I don't care about flexing or anything - I treat my mom and use the money smartly.
"The way I thought about it is, things are constantly getting leaked and whatnot...so if my things are out there on the internet, I want to monetise it in the best way possible.
"I'm gonna go balls to the wall and do the best job that I can." (Pardon the pun).
For now, Rozentals is reaping the rewards that the publicity has brought to his OnlyFans, while continuing to 'train' as well as 'staying fit and healthy'.
"Life is always unpredictable, but we find a way to keep our heads up and find a way to win, one way or another," he said.
