Fans of Preston North End are thrilled at the news that some familiar faces have signed up as new sponsors to create a new home kit.

If you've ever scrolled through TikTok and find yourself watching a video of people queuing for ages to get a baked potato, then there's a good chance you've come across this brand.

Who ever could have imagined that the humble jacket potato could one day feature on a football shirt?

Made up of brothers Jacob and Harley Nelson, the duo have won over the hearts (and stomachs) of Preston and beyond thanks to their genius idea to film and post videos of them working from their tram in Preston's Flag Market, and now they've put their name to the new season's kit.

You can get your hands on the new shirt here, with the shirts starting at £55 for a junior up to £70 for an adult shirt.

The siblings, 30-year-old Jacob and 22-year-old Harley, shot to fame thanks to their business savvy (and more than a few spuds) and clocked up more than 4.2 million TikTok followers thanks to their posts.

Now, a dream has come true for the duo as they reveal they have teamed up with their favourite football team for a special sponsorship that fans are calling 'class'.

They've partnered with Preston North End, and it's a moment decades in the making for the spud slingers to see their name emblazoned on the new shirts.

Harley has been a fan of North End his whole life, and has shared his happiness at the collaboration: “What more can I say, this is a dream come true. We’re here to help PNE make history. Let’s take it to the top this season and show the world what Preston’s all about!"

Two lads from Preston backing our hometown club - we're absolutely buzzing for the season ahead! Thank you for all the support, always! We'll keep doing our best to make Preston proud!"

Fans rushed to the comment section to share their support: "This is class fellas, massive congrats," wrote one.

"Well done, putting the proud back in Preston" added another.

"You are doing an incredible job so far and I believe you will continue to do so! I love everything about the kit the season ahead can’t come soon enough," praised one fan.

"Well done fellas. Great to see two local lads doing well. You must have worked your backsides off to get to this point. thanks for the support. Hope it’s a good relationship for both sides," raved another.

The brand new shirt for the Preston North End FC 2025/26 Home Kit has taken the recognisable image of the floodlights that tower over Deepdale and turned them into a bold geometric print, in tribute to the stadium. An AerTek fabric base ensures it stays breathable whether you're playing football in the garden, or watching the match with a pint.

It's described as a 'future-focused kit for a club ever-grounded by its roots'.
