Now we’re coming into the final matches, we’ve seen all kinds of stories about whose been spotted in the stands and how much people have paid to be at the World Cup.
FIFA was hit with backlash pretty early on for the prices of tickets and there’s been viral moments of fans using their savings to get out to the US to watch.
But while they’ve been in their seats they’ve occasionally ran into some odd behaviour - such as the influencer ‘running 5k’ in his seat.
Known as the ‘5K Guy’, Jacob Abrams Cohen aims to ‘make fitness fun’ with his content on social media but not everyone is so on board with his World Cup content.

The fitness creator appeared to complete the stunt at the Morocco v Haiti match in the group stage at Atlanta Stadium.

Shared to his Instagram, @notreallywellness, he did the challenge as ‘Day 214 of running a random 5K everyday until 1 million followers.”
His account is currently sitting on 293,000 followers and other videos have seen him ‘running a 5k’ while getting a tattoo, inside a fridge and ‘inside my couch’.
From the video, it’s not totally clear if he was doing the challenge while the game was actually in play but it certainly seemed to be quite a challenge.
‘Running’ has been taken pretty loosely here, but Jacob basically seems to have stood up on his seat in the stadium, and gone in circles until his Strava clocked a distance covered of 5km.
Again, unclear if she’s in on the fun or not, the creator knocks into a woman in the seat in front at one point who tells him: “There’s a game going on.”
And when he knocks into the guy next to him, he just seems to be laughing.
“5k in the seat of the World Cup game is complete,” Jacob says in the video. “My ideas get crazier ever single day, so make sure you drop a follow.”
Plenty of people did seem to find it funny, writing: “Let’s gooooooo. Sorry lady more important things are happening.”
As others commented with laughing face emojis as one simply put: “Aura.”
“Peak use of free will,” another put.
However, many others were pretty p**sed off by the video as one pointed out: “Not funny mate, people pay big money for these tickets.”
And a second said: “Can't lie man would be one of the few times I would be furious with you.”
Pretty fairly, one noted: “Could never try that in England.”
While an X user said: “My guy figured out how to ruin a World Cup experience for everyone around him.”
