Donald Trump will be involved in presenting the World Cup trophy to the winning team, according to FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
Last week, it was rumoured that Trump would be making an appearance for the tournament's final match and maybe even handing the trophy over to the winning team.
This plan has now been confirmed by Infantino, who told Fox & Friends that he would be enjoying the 19 July game in the company of the US leader.
"We will be together with the president enjoying the final and handing the trophy to the winner, of course, together," he said.

How cute, but maybe a tad awkward if Iran ends up winning the tournament.

While an appearance from the Trump may not be too popular with fans, he was booed during an appearance at last year's Club World Cup, it would appear he's struck up a pretty firm friendship with Infantino, with the FIFA man adding that the pair are together 'all the time'.
He also honoured Trump with the FIFA 'Peace Prize' last December, a move which remains a highly divisive one.
Hopefully, this time the POTUS can rein himself in during the celebrations, after he accidentally crashed Chelsea's celebrations after winning the Club World Cup.
President Trump was responsible for handing out the medals to the Chelsea team after their 3-0 defeat over Paris Saint-Germain at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium.
However, the 80-year-old decided to hang around and join in with the squad as they lifted the trophy – a moment which left the team, especially Cole Palmer, looking very confused.

Chelsea captain and England International Reece James later confirmed that the Blues were left just as confused as the rest of us over the moment, later telling reporters: "They told me that he was going to present the trophy and exit the stage.
"I thought he was going to exit the stage, but he wanted to stay."
Palmer also addressed the moment, telling reporters that he, too, had no idea Trump would celebrate on stage with them. "No, I knew he was going to be there, but I didn't know he was going to be on the stand when we lift the trophy," he said. "So, I was a bit confused."
This isn't too surprising, considering that Palmer appeared to mouth 'what's he doing' when it became clear the present wouldn't budge.
The trophy-lifting moment wasn't the only weird crossover between Football and politics either, as Trump also weighed bombing Iran while the Juventus squad stood awkwardly behind him.
