Less than a week into the all-consuming action, this summer's FIFA World Cup has already found the 'worst-ever' pitch invader.
Gone are the days of the streakers it seems, who found no quarrel in baring all for the millions of fans watching at home, as well as the thousands in live attendance.
Tragically, these brave and bonkers souls took the disappointing form of an American fan this time, who utterly failed to even make into onto the pitch of the Los Angeles Stadium before security closed the gap on him.
Once his nation had sealed their 4-1 victory over Paraguay, with attacker Giovanni Reyna adding a special fourth goal in extra time, the bloke in question chanced his arm at joining the 22 players out on the field.

In a social media clip, the USA follower made his way over the railing and onto a ledge that separated the stand from the pitch.
Clearly in two minds over how exactly to execute the drop, this allowed security staff to prepare for his arrival.
He proceeded to pace up and down the ledge while holding a football, but the element of surprise had truly disappeared by this point.
One fellow attendee could be heard calling him a 'f***ing idiot', while somebody else shouted 'you dumbass!'
Perhaps hoping that the security guards had butter fingers, he ended up jumping straight into their arms before being taken to the ground.
"Security tackled him faster than any striker tonight," read one of the many comments on X.
"Literally just jumped in the middle of everyone.. guy just wanted a lifetime ban," suggested another user.

The taunts continued to flow in as his epic fail spread across social platforms.
A third reaction read: "Imagine paying $2000 for a ticket, + fines & bail, only to get arrested and banned for life and not even coming close to invading the pitch. Fail on all levels."
"Even security didn't need to try that hard," a fourth person laughed.
It's believed that the perpetrator is an online streaming personality and planned the stunt prior to kick-off.
This comes after the England national team's equipment and boots were stolen in a 'huge heist' just days before their opening match against old foes Croatia.
Managed by German maestro Thomas Tuchel - of Champions League-winning prestige - the Three Lions were initially holed up in Florida for pre-tournament friendlies against New Zealand and Costa Rica, but as the squad travelled to their World Cup base in Missouri, they were targeted by thieves.
The Kansas City Police Department has since confirmed that they've apprehended a couple of suspects.
