The Amazon Spring Deal Days is live and with it, a massive saving of 40 percent on one security device many now deem essential.

Amazon expects sales to spike in the next week while the sale is live, with millions set to be saved by consumers as they purchase discounted tech, home, clothing and sports goods.

For those who haven't yet got one of Amazon's fire sticks, you can save big on the Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite with Alexa Voice Remote Lite.

There's also the Blink Mini 1-Camera that costs less than a takeaway and is ideal for keeping an eye on your pets while you're out and about.

But top of the pile for many will be getting their hands on a security doorbell, with buyers able to save a whopping 40 percent on Blink Video Doorbell + Sync Module 2.

It's now £41.99 instead of £69.99.

It might be one for Ring doorbell customers who have been left furious over a recent price rise.

The Blink Video Doorbell + Sync Module 2 is easy to work, with it set up in minutes via the Blink Home app.

Like its competitors, the Blink Video Doorbell + Sync Module 2 has two-way audio meaning you can speak to whoever is at your door even if you're not there.

It's also got night-vision, so you can see what's going on in the pitch black.

You can save and share clips in the cloud with a free 30-day trial of the Blink Subscription Plan or locally with the Sync Module 2.

Battery life varies depending on how you set it up, but you can get up to two years of life from one pair of AA lithium batteries that are included with the device.

It also works with Alexa, meaning the Blink Video Doorbell + Sync Module 2 can be accessed via voice activation. You can also use motion and chime alerts via your Alexa.

The Blink Video Doorbell + Sync Module 2 comes with a two-year limited warranty and can operate between -20°C and 45°C.
