What Is The Tesco Method On TikTok? Hack To Get Free Sweets Goes Viral

The 'Tesco Method' has gone viral on TikTok.

A TikTok trend that is allowing people to pick up free sweets from Tesco stores has been exposed and people are going crazy about it online.

The trend is encouraging shoppers to find the secret coupon located deep within the TikTok algorithm, which enables you to go into the shop and pick up £5’s worth of free treats…it sounds too good to be true right?

But what exactly is the ‘Tesco Method’? People are taking full advantage of the hack, and here’s how you can too… probably for a limited time only.

How does the TikTok Method Work?

A TikTok creator revealed a short video explaining how exactly you go about getting your free sweets, but the method still seems to be baffling people so we'll do our best to explain it.

The full list of sweets the shoppers can grab is unknown, but videos on the platform have showcased people picking up some staple favourites including Malteasers, Starbursts and Skittles, all for free.

So, here’s our easy step-by-step guide on how to get your bargain…

The first thing that you need to do is open up the TikTok app and search up the ‘Tesco Method’. One of the top videos will be a screenshot of a magic coupon that you can take into any Tesco store in the country.

This allows anyone and everyone to help themselves to £5 worth of their selection of confectionery, just remember to scan the coupon at the checkout to get your free sweets.

Multiple TikTokkers have weighed in on the trend with one stating: “The Tesco method is literally an IRL money bug”.

However, it’s unfortunately not all good news. Some Tesco stores have already, in fact, clamped down on the £5 hack, so depending on where you are we can’t promise it’s going to work.

We also do not encourage people to do the trend which appears to have gone viral this week.

LADbible has contacted Tesco for comment on the trend.
