Fans of The Chase stopped googling answers and started googling Mark Labbett's age after an episode on Thursday (14 January).
The Beast revealed he was five years old in February 1971 during the head-to-head round - with many viewers clearly surprised he was even alive in 1971:
This deceivingly youthful appearance may in part be due to the fact he's becoming a decreasingly sizable beast, claiming in a recent Instagram post he's on track to become the 'skinniest chaser'.

He previously shared an update on his weight loss in the summer, showing off a skinnier waistline, but stating that he still had a 'long way to go'.
The 6ft 6ins knowledge box first embarked on his weight loss journey several years ago, revealing the show bought him a new suit after he achieved his first target.
Labbett then mentioned former Emmerdale actor Lisa Riley - who has lost 11 stone - writing: "@Reallisariley I am not at your level yet but in last six months dropped 2.5 stones, four inches off chest and six inches off stomach."

Congratulating him on the landmark, Lisa replied: "Mark that's FANTATSIC [sic]...and now you keep strong and keep going. With ZERO pressure doing it at your own pace, this is for YOU and nobody else CHAMPION, I'm crazy proud of you @MarkLabbett."
The Beast was showered with compliments by his followers after he uploaded a youthful-looking selfie last month.
One person commented: "You built a time capsule in lockdown? Look well younger here."

Another wrote: "Younger looking and you've lost weight. Well done, as you're looking good, not that you didn't before."
A third wrote: "How much weight have you lost! Looking good for it."
While another person asked: "You look great, what's your secret?"
Appearing on Loose Women in August, he said he'd been 'eating a bit more sensibly' and 'doing more exercises these days'.

Damn. Always has to be eating sensibly and exercising, doesn't it?
