Uber customers are "outraged" by the breakdown of their rating on the app

On 16th February 2022, the online taxi company made it possible for users to check out the details of their Uber rating, and people aren’t happy with their results.

One customer shared their rating onto Twitter, which was at an average of 4.66 stars and showed ten one-star ratings on the app, with the caption, “Therapist: What would you like to speak about today.

“Me: My outrage toward the TEN one-star Uber ratings I’ve received.”

Meanwhile, another social media user penned: “Uber made it so you can view your ratings…I’m ruined”.

Juan also screenshotted the details of his Uber rating, highlighting his three two-star ratings and four one-star ratings.

Uber now lets you see more details about your ratings and I would really like to know what I did to these people. Was I too quiet??”, he asked.

Another user of the app asked followers: “Just found out my Uber rating has dropped to a 4.98 and bc of ONE 4 star review like what did i do. pls tell me im cryin [sic]”.

Rob also added: “Fuming that 10 Uber drivers have given me a 1 star rating... what did I do to deserve that?”

Elsewhere, other users on the app showcased their pristine five-star ratings, with one writing: “My Uber rating is what is getting me into heaven”.

“My Uber rating shows how I’m literally the best person I know,” another app user stated.

The Uber team recently stated on their website that the new update allows “all Uber users” to “access a breakdown of their average rating in the Uber app’s new Privacy Center.

“You’ll see how many drivers gave you a stellar 5-star rating, how many handed out the dreaded single star, and everything in between.”
