Father's Day is just around the corner, and if you're struggling to think of what to get your old man this year, we might have just the thing.

The folks over at Aldi have brought back their famous 'Big Daddy' rump steak just in time for 21 June.

Yes, the 'extra thick' hunk of meat, which weighs in at an impressive 794g, could be just the thing to pick up your dad during lockdown.

And if that wasn't enough, it will only set you back £7.99. An absolute snip.

Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, said: "The popularity of Wagyu Beef has increased drastically as more people discover its mouthwatering taste and texture.

"We're pleased to be able to exclusively offer our British Wagyu range for customers to enjoy, whilst supporting British suppliers like Warrendale Farm at the same time."

But if that sounds like a bit too much meat for you, Aldi has also launched its Wagyu steak range, which come in a variety of cuts: Sirloin (£6.49), Rump (£5.99), Ribeye (£6.99), and Fillet (£7.49/170g).

Iceland has also pulled out all the stops this year.

The budget supermarket chain has released a selection of tasty treats that will hit the shelves - or, more accurately, freezers - in advance of the big day.

And yes, the 'Big Daddy' burger is back on the menu, and for the princely sum of £3.

As well as that, you can get hold of a few other products from the 'Big Daddy' - I'm sensing a theme, here - range. There's a sirloin steak and there's a rump steak.

Hell, if the weather picks up as it's supposed to, you could sling them all on the barbecue while you have a socially distanced meet-up with your folks in the garden.

Iceland has also released a range of meaty products for the big day.

The sirloin steak comes in at just £5, which ain't bad, either. If you're looking for the rump, that's also a fiver.

As for when and where you can buy these delicious presents for your dear old man, they'll be available both online and in Iceland stores as of right now.

In case you're not sure where your local Iceland store is, you can head across to their website and use their incredibly useful store locator to plot your journey.

The Big Daddy burger features two giant patties, capped off with a gooey cheese centre.

Alongside that, you can get hold of some of the special Iceland hash brown fries, which are £1.50, and a large Warburtons sliced roll for an extra quid.
