Holidays are coming...

Now that Halloween and Bonfire Night are out the way, it's safe to mention the C-word, yeah?

Like it or not, Christmas is just 45 days away and if you're keen to get in touch with your inner Buddy the Elf, then a trip to the giant Coca-Cola Christmas truck is always a good start.

The truck will be touring the UK ahead of Christmas.

The huge illuminated red truck's first appearance on TV marks the official start of Christmas for many of us and for the past few years, it's made the switch from telly to real life, travelling up and down the UK and handing out free cola.

As yet, the full list of dates and destinations hasn't been released but a message on the site reads: "Holidays are coming... soon!

"The iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour will shortly be back for 2019, spreading holiday magic across the UK! Details will be revealed very soon."

You can follow updates on it on the official site here.

Last year, it kicked off its tour on 9 November in Glasgow and travelled through a number of cities including Liverpool, Newcastle, Cardiff and Bournemouth, before finishing up in London on 16 December.

In previous years, anyone who made the trip to see the truck not only got that tingly-Christmas feeling, but also a freebie 150ml can of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Coke or Coca-Cola Original.

As well as the truck and the impending John Lewis advert, there's another surefire sign that Father Christmas is getting himself ready - the welcome return of the Gregg's Festive Bake.

The Christmassy treat is now available nationwide - woohoo.

For the initiated the limited-edition pasty combines chicken breast, sage and onion stuffing and sweetcure bacon in a creamy sage and cranberry sauce, wrapped up in puff pastry with a crunchy crumb topping. Jingle my bells.

Gregg's-lovers were delighted with the news with one person tweeting to say: "Happy Greggs Festive Bake Day, everybody! We've waited 10 long months for this day to come. We deserve it. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!"

Another person added: "Wasn't feeling very Christmassy, until... NOW. The Festive Bake is back in Greggs and mmmmm it tastes delish!"

Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals.
