The lawyer of Andrew and Tristan Tate has issued a statement after the brothers were arrested in the USA on Saturday, July 18.
TMZ reported that Andrew Tate, 39, and his brother Tristan Tate, 38, were arrested in downtown Miami by US Marshals after British authorities issued 38 new charges against them.
The UK's Court Prosecution Service (CPS) has charged Andrew with seven further counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and 19 additional charges for offences relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.
Tristan, meanwhile, has been charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, the CPS has said.

The Tates have previously denied any wrongdoing.
The alleged offences is said to have taken place between July 2010 and August 2017, with the total number of charges against the brothers now standing at 59.

The CPS is now seeking to extradite the pair – who are dual British-US citizens – from the US on the new charges as well as the original 21 they were given in May 2025, with Andrew facing 10 and Tristan 11.
The Tate brothers' lawyer, Joseph McBride, has claimed to TMZ that the new charges are 'ridiculous, salacious, and meant to make headlines'.
McBride added: "What's important to know is despite all the horrible allegations against these guys, they have been travelling the world the past few years without incident.
"They have been making court appearances in Romania and not missing a single one. We are going to trial in Florida and it looks promising, If we win, the entire narrative collapses."
A further statement from McBride claimed the charges were a 'political hit' and that he is confident the pair will 'walk free' when a 'competent judge sees the facts, and once the Department of Justice confronts this egregious abuse of its own authority'.
Malcolm McHaffie, Head of the Special Crime Division at the CPS, said: “We have decided to prosecute Andrew and Tristan Tate for further offences including rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation and offences relating to indecent images of a child.
"These charging decisions followed receipt of a further file of evidence from Bedfordshire Police and bring the total number of alleged victims in this case to seven."

The previous charges related to three victims, but the new charges relate to a further four.
“The CPS has requested the extradition of the Tates from the US. They have been arrested and await extradition proceedings to the UK.”
There are now a total of 42 charges against Andrew and 17 against Tristan.
The alleged offences the Tates were charged with in 2025 are said to have taken place between 2012 and 2016.
Andrew has previously been charged with three counts of rape, four counts of actual bodily harm, two counts of human trafficking and one count of controlling prostitution for gain.
Whereas Tristan was charged with three counts of rape, six counts of actual bodily harm and two counts of human trafficking.
Andrew and Tristan Tate have denied the charges against them.
