It has been reported by British Transport Police that there are three separate incidents being investigated, prior to the tragic stabbing which took place on a London-bound train.

Earlier today, police confirmed that a 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with the horror knife attack which took place on the 18:25 London North Eastern Railway (LNER) service bound for King's Cross on Saturday 1 November.

Eleven people were left injured in the aftermath of the knife attack, with nine left fighting for their lives, as witnesses reported police using a taser on a man holding a knife at the scene.

While two suspects were arrested in the aftermath of the incident, one has been released, while Anthony Williams, from Peterborough, has been charged for the attack.

The Brit has been charged with 11 counts of attempted murder, one count of actual bodily harm and one count of possession of a bladed article, with one count of attempted murder in relation to a previous incident, said British Transport Police.

He appeared at Peterborough Magistrates this morning (3 November), with the bodily harm charge related to an assault on a 'police officer in a custody suite' which took place after the train incident, report the BBC.

Now, authorities are investigating his alleged involvement in the stabbing of a teenager in Peterborough city centre on Friday night, as a 14-year-old was taken to hospital, suffering minor injuries.

Police arrived at the scene after the suspect fled, with officers unable to find them with the help of a sniffer dog.

It has been reported that 15 minutes after the incident, a man was seen with a knife at a barber's shop in the Fletton area of Peterborough, with this only being reported to police almost two hours later at 9.10pm, at which point he had left the scene.
