Russia send three-day threat to UK from 'doomsday' submarine
Russian state media has urged Vladimir Putin to use a nuclear torpedo reportedly capable of causing a tsunami on Britain.
The threat comes after the UK’s ongoing support for Ukraine by supplying them with drones in their fight against Russia that’s been going on for almost four and a half years.
Vladimir Solovyov, a state TV presenter, said: "Give the British three days to learn to breathe underwater, then hit them with Poseidon.”
Following reports of recent drone strikes, Russia's embassy in London accused Britain of becoming ‘an accomplice and co-perpetrator’ of the attacks and of ‘deliberately opting for an escalation’.

In response, the UK's Ministry of Defence said: "Britain stands shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine and we are committed to providing the equipment Ukraine needs to defend itself against Putin's illegal invasion."
What is the Poseidon?
The Khabarovsk, designed to carry six Poseidon strategic weapons, has begun sea trials in the White Sea.
The submarine, measuring 443 feet in length, is configured with two large compartments for the Poseidon vehicles, which are estimated to weigh between 61 and 121 US tons each.
As reported by The Telegraph, the torpedo is capable of creating a tsunami on an enemy's coastline.
Russia has plans to acquire at least 30 Poseidon torpedoes and four submarines to carry them.
23 UK towns and cities on Russia’s ‘strike list’
A leaked map, shared by former Russian deputy prime minister Dmitry Rogozin, highlights 23 potential targets in the UK, including military and industrial hubs.
Rogozin, a war veteran who is a senator of the Russian Federation, ominously shared the map in the wake of comments made by Britain's former defence secretary, Ben Wallace.
Wallace urged the West to 'make Crimea uninhabitable and unviable from a Russian point of view', as he said in October last year: "Ukraine does not need to invade the peninsula (which I concede would be incredibly difficult if not impossible), but they should choke it to death."
Rogozin replied: "Former British Defence Minister Ben Wallace on what Kyiv and its NATO allies should do to end the military actions: 'We must help Ukraine acquire long-range capabilities to make Crimea uninhabitable. We need to strangle Crimea'.

Burnham arrives in Ukraine
Andy Burnham has arrived in Ukraine to showcase support for the country on his first foreign trip.
The UK Prime Minister laid a wreath and flowers at the graves of Ukrainian soldiers at the National Military Cemetery, as part of events marking the country’s independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.
Burnham said: “Russia should be in no doubt of our resolve.
“We will not back down until there is a just and lasting peace.”
