One of the mothers jailed for offering her baby to peadophile Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins for abuse has been released.
Watkins was convicted in of 13 separate sex offences in 2013, which included the attempted rape of a baby.
Two women were also jailed at the time for being complicit in his crimes, with the court hearing how the women - named as Woman A and Woman B to protect the identities of their children - had offered the singer their children to abuse.
Following the news that Watkins died last week after being attacked by fellow inmates in HMP Wakefield, the Daily Mail has now revealed what happened to the two women involved in the horrific crimes.
According to the report, Woman A was been released from prison in November 2023 while Woman B is preparing to put forward her case at an upcoming parole meeting.
The disgraced singer was killed by fellow inmates in HMP Wakefield last week (South Wales Police) It's understood that Woman B - who was sentenced to 17 years - had previously been released on licence but was put back behind bars for a breach of her conditions.
The report revealed The Ministry of Justice confirmed that that Woman A was released in November 2023 after serving more than half of her sentence.
She had been sentenced to a 14 years behind bars.
Woman A had admitted her guilt over the crimes from the start, while both Woman B and Watkins only pleaded guilty on the second day of trial.
During the trial a psychiatrist told the court that Woman A's child is likely to have 'lifelong psychological difficulties coming to terms with the enormity of what has happened to him'.
"He will eventually learn the truth of his childhood and the abuse he was subjected to,’ they said in court," they added.

She was initially released in 2021, the automatic release point of her sentence, but was sent back to prison shortly after.
The woman was denied parole in November 2023, with the board concluding: "She had been too easily influenced and manipulated by another person.
