A new documentary focusing on the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has revealed previously unseen photos of evidence found by German police.
Widely believed to be the most publicised missing person's case of all time; investigators have been unable to work out what happened to Maddie, who vanished while on holiday with her family in Portugal's Praia da Luz.

18 years on from her disappearance and the case remains unsolved, however prosecutors in Germany are currently building a case linking suspect Christian Brueckner to the disappearance.

Brueckner is currently serving a sentence for the sexual assault of an American woman and is currently scheduled to be released later this year. He has denied all allegations linking him to the disappearance of Madeleine.
Madeleine McCann: The Unseen Evidence, which is a joint investigation between The Sun and Channel 4, revealed unseen images of 'evidence' found at a property owned by Breuckner in Neuwegersleben.
According to the documentary, police reportedly uncovered an unlicensed gun and ammunition in the factory's premises, as well as children's toys and bikes.

As well as these, more than 75 children's swimming costumes were also discovered in the factory. A case of pictures recovered also allegedly included shots of girls aged as young as four and five.

A suitcase full of images of young girls was also uncovered by police alongside a list of phone numbers and an address book.
These weren't the only revelations made in the documentary either, with numerous handwritten accounts allegedly from Breuckner describing how he fantasised about kidnapping women and children. Many were too graphic to broadcast, however one story went into detail about abducting a mother and daughter.

Further discoveries included chemicals inside a car which matched the description of Brueckner's as well as images which placed him at the Arade Dam, which had been searched by police in 2023 in relation to Maddie's disappearance.

Another key finding was a hard drive which allegedly contains images which makes investigators believe that Maddie was killed shortly after she vanished, according to a report in The Mirror. However specifics from the hard drive were not revealed in the programme.
Breuckner has not been formally charged with Maddie's disappearance, however German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters previously revealed there is 'strong evidence' to link him.

Speaking on Aussie TV, the German prosecutor said (per The Sun): "We have strong evidence that Madeleine McCann is dead and that our suspect killed her.
"We don't have the body and no parts of the body, but we have enough evidence to say our suspect killed Madeleine McCann."

When approached by LADbible, German police gave the following statement about the documentary and The Sun's investigation: "I can't comment on the documentary because I haven't seen it. In my opinion, the article in The Sun doesn't contain any real news and also contains few direct references to Madeleine McCann.
"I assume the article was published only because of the anniversary of Madeleine's disappearance and not because of the timeliness of the alleged evidence."

LADbible Group has contacted Brueckner's legal team for comment.
