OK, it really is nearly time to Step into Christmas - well, it will be on 22 November anyway.

That’s the day the McDonald’s festive menu lands and that’s definitely a day to celebrate.

Not only are the fast-food giants delivering us a brand-new burger and a tasty new dessert for Christmas but they’re also bringing back a legendary menu item.

'Tis the season and all that.

Undo your Santa pants and get ready for a sleigh-full of scran because the new McDonald’s burger has ‘big’ in the name.

The new The Big & Cheesy (£5.49 alone or £7.29 as a meal) has a 100 percent beef patty topped with two slices of that beloved Maccies cheese, red onions as well as crispy onions and get ready for this, cheese sauce.

How is this festive? I hear you ask.

Well, I thought the same thing, but the burger comes in a toasted snowflake flour dusted bun.

Because nothing says Christmas like a snowflake flour-dusted bun.

Plus, McDonald’s is also doing a Big & Cheesy with Bacon (£6.29 alone or £8.09 as a meal), truly all ‘the trimmings’.

If the newbie doesn’t take your fancy, the festive menu features the return of the legend, the Chicken Big Mac (£4.79 alone or £6.59 as a meal)

A Christmas miracle, the twist on the beloved Big Mac features two chicken patties in the triple layered bun along with a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles and that iconic Big Mac sauce.

Really continuing to spread that McChristmas joy, the Cheese Melt Dippers (£2.59 and £6.89 in sharebox size) are also returning with gooey Camembert and a rich tomato dip.

Plus, to share with your mates or just absolutely go to town on yourself (no judgement), there’s the festive menu features the McDonald’s Chicken Combo (£14.99).

This feast includes 10 Chicken Selects and a 20 Chicken McNuggets Sharebox alongside four Selects dips and four standard dips. Yum.

And obviously the McDonald’s festive menu features desserts with a Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry of ice cream with Galaxy Chocolate stars and chocolate sauce.

There’s also the Galaxy Caramel version (both £1.49 in mini and £1.99 in regular sizes) plus, a new tasty pie.

Swap the classic molten apple filling for the Galaxy Caramel Pie (£1.99), with a crispy chocolate pastry filled with a Galaxy Caramel sauce.

It’s going to be a merry six weeks for McDonalds lovers as the 2023 Festive Menu launches for a limited time across the UK and Ireland from 11am on Wednesday, 22 November.
