Nigel Farage has been duped into paying tribute to former Lostprophets singer and convicted paedophile Ian Watkins.
The clip shows the Reform UK leader appearing to read a script on his phone, saying it is to 'pay tribute to Ian Watkins', calling Watkins a 'good man' and a 'really good guy'.
A man named by Metro as John Smith has claimed responsibility for the trick, which is not the first time Farage has said something questionable on a Cameo, previously saying 'up the Ra'.

Telling Metro why he did it, Smith said: “I hope to show the world that Farage is a man who will do and say anything for whoever is paying him. I suspect he has no actual ideology and will follow the path to power that offers the least resistance.
“If I could speak directly to him I would ask why he did not do even a rudimentary check? Will he blindly accept what he is told by the Kremlin, the White House or anyone with £70 going spare for a Cameo?”

Farage's Cameo page indicates that he charges at '£70.99+' for a personal video message, while a 'business video' starts at £3,736.13.
Speaking directly to the camera, he said: "This message is to pay tribute to Ian Watkins, a good man, a really good guy, he was very much in contact with me, who loved his children, and will be sorely, sorely missed by them forever, and he'll always have that very special place in everybody's heart."

He continued: "And remember what he always said - 'mad lolz', well tell you that does just about sum up the world doesn't it?"
'Mad lolz' could be a reference to the way that disgraced singer Watkins described his horrifying crimes and subsequent trial to a Lostprophets fan as 'mega lolz'.
A recorded conversation between Watkins and a fan at Park Prison was read out to a shocked court, with Watkins saying: "I'm going to put out a statement on the 18th just to say it was mega lolz. I do not know what everybody is getting so freaked out about."
In his Cameo message, Farage concluded: "Sorry for your grief, but please try and keep some happy memories."

Watkins was convicted of multiple sex offences, including the attempted rape of a baby.
He admitted to attempted rape and sexual assault of a child under 13, and pleaded not guilty to rape at Cardiff Crown Court.
He also admitted conspiring to rape a child, three counts of sexual assault involving children, seven involving taking, making or possessing indecent images of children, as well as one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image involving a sex act on an animal.
Watkins would go on to be sentenced to 29 years in prison with an extended license period of six years for a total of 35 years.
He was stabbed to death by inmates at HMP Wakefield in 2025.

Commenting on the Cameo, Nigel Farage told Metro: "Thank him for the money. There are lots of Ian Watkins. Tell him to send more. I did alter his request."
