A handsome handyman's viral post seeking out more work has backfired after it attracted the wrong type of interest online.
Tom Bedford was simply hoping to attract some more customers to his business when he posted an advert for his business on Facebook, but it seems as if many are in the market for a handsy man rather than a handyman.
The 31-year-old posted a satirical Ring doorbell camera photo of himself, in which he posted about him 'stealing' all their moss and weeds and despite it gaining over 1.2 million views, he's only had messages about his looks rather than his business.
Although he's flattered with the celebrity comparisons, Tom has now spoken about what it feels like to go viral and the reaction he's seen since first posting the advertisement.

He said: "I haven’t had any jobs yet - just a load of new women after me. I don’t think I have had a single job from it and it is on 1.2 million views.
“I have had quite a few posts go viral over the years but I didn’t think this would be like that. It is quite a shock.”

Tom had seen other businesses have success by editing themselves into Ring camera footage but the image quickly reached the far corners of the internet after he shared it in various Facebook groups.
But while a lot of blokes might be happy to earn so many compliments from the opposite sex, Tom was hoping that his work rather than his face would be the thing getting the five star reviews.
One admirer wrote: "He can come and trim my bush anytime." Another added: “Wouldn’t mind him turning up at my door."
A third wrote: “I don't have a driveway. But I am going to get one installed, and put fake moss all over it just to get this bloke over!”

Tom, who started his home exterior and window cleaning business Better View eight years ago, says that he is not interested in pursuing any of the women at present, although he is flattered by their interest.
He said: “I am flattered. I have been compared to Harry Kane and Gary Barlow a lot as well as Luke Shaw.
"Those seems to be the most common ones.
“I am glad I didn’t put my mobile on it, there are quite a few people asking for my mobile number now. I would normally include it in the ad but I would imagine I would be harassed a bit if I had.”
