​There’s A January Sale Across Wetherspoon Pubs With Pints For Less Than £2

January is a particularly bleak time of year, with all of that festive hyperactivity winding down to make way for more sensible times - no pigs in blankets with every meal, for starters.

But the one thing that month does have going for it is that it's a time for some of the best deals out there, as bars and restaurants try to counteract their seasonal lull by luring you in with cut-price food and drink.

And that includes the UK's finest drinking establishment: JD Wetherspoon pubs, which will be holding a huge sale next month with pints on offer for less than £2 ($2.63). The sale begins on Thursday 2 January and ends on Thursday 16 January.

Along with pints of Magners for £1.89 and Shipyard beer for £2.35, prices on spirits and wine will also be slashed, including the likes of a single Gordon's gin and mixer for £2.45 and a 175ml glass of red, white or rose wine for £2.30.

Just remember that prices can sometimes vary from one Wetherspoon gaff to another.

And if you're taking part in Dry January (or the thought of throwing back yet more booze after a bit of a debauched festive season fills you with fear) selected soft drinks and coffees are included in the sale too.

This includes R White's raspberry lemonade, Dalston's Fizzy Rhubarb, Gunna Muscovite Lemonade and Mint, San Pellegrino, Remedy Kombucha, Lavazza Iced Cappucino and some draught soft drinks.

Low and alcohol-free drinks are also in the deal, including Beck's Blue, Heineken 0.0, Brewdog Nanny State and Adnams Ghost Ship.

Wetherspoon pub manager Bobby Platt said: "Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale at the pub too.

"The range of drinks on sale in the pub is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes. This year we have included our biggest selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks.

"I believe that the January Sale will prove popular with our customers. As always, staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly."

The January sales may look like a war zone out there right now, but thankfully this one requires far less effort as you can partake from the comfort of your own seat. Score.
