While we're waiting for news on the future of Friday Night Dinner, what better way to pass another weekend in lockdown than answer questions about it and relive some of those classic moments?

If you have no plans on Sunday evening and love the Channel 4 show, then you're in luck, because there will be an online quiz starting at 7pm and ending at 9pm. There is even a cash prize for the winner.

Although the amount of the prize entirely depends on the number of people playing, the last quiz a few weeks ago had a prize pot of £350.

Hosted by Speedy Trivia, you'll need two devices to play.

The Facebook event for the quiz has more information. "This is a fully interactive quiz you will see us live asking the questions and you will input your answers into an app on your device. Remember you can't cheat because the faster you answer the more points you will get."

To play along you have to do the following: "Download the Redtooth SmartQuiz app from your favorite App Store."

The next step reads: "An hour before you you will be advised of the Zoom link via email and also the game pin. You can then enter your team name and join the live broadcast on Zoom."

It's that simple. So what are you waiting for? Gather your pals, get a team name ready and get a few bevvies in. What a night.

Fans that tuned into the last episode of Friday Night Dinner are worried that it could prove to be the final farewell.

The show started airing its sixth season earlier this year, much to the delight of viewers in lockdown, which came to an emotional conclusion at the beginning of May.

The touching ending of the episode has prompted many to think it could be the show wrapping up.

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "Please don't tell me that was the last ever Friday Night Dinner. Felt sad at the start of the episode when I realised we won't get any new episodes for at least two years as they won't make any this year, but that episode seemed like the last ever episode."

Another said: "I've been a huge fan of Friday Night Dinner since series one, and if tonight's episode was the last one ever, which I hope it isn't, it was pretty much perfect. So funny, absolutely brilliant."

Someone else added: "That last five minutes really felt like this was the last ever episode and we're not going to have a season seven, are we?"

With most filming for new shows put on hold until coronavirus restrictions are lifted, it's going to be a matter of waiting it out for this one, LADs.
