A woman has divided the internet after revealing how much the average person spends on a night out. See for yourself below:
TikToker Hinal posted a video to her account in which she explained the average reveller forks out £69 ($95) on a night on the tiles. Quite hefty, right?

She then claimed we could all be sat on a small fortune if we decided to stay in a couple of nights a week rather than go out with our mates: over £7,000 ($9,600) a year.
In the video, Hinal explains: "Apparently, the average person in the UK spends £69 on a night out.
"Now, let's say you stopped going on a night out twice a week, you're saving £138.
"If you do that for the whole year, you'll save £7,176. Think about what you could do with that money. I know what I'd do."
The figure came from a 2019 report from the Deltic Night Index, and the figure has since increased slightly to £70.69 ($97.75) for an average night out.

So, using Hinal's metric, if we stopped going out twice a week for an entire year, we could actually save ourselves a colossal £7,351.76 ($10,165.98).
But while it might sound impressive, Hinal's calculations have not won everyone over.
Commenting on her post, one user said: "These sort of people regret their life when they're too old to go out."
Echoing this, another chimed in: "It's not wasting money if you've made memories with that money."
Others felt that going out a couple of times in one week is a bit excessive.

One user asked: "Who goes out twice a week, every week?"
A fair point really.
On the other hand, some thought £69 was wishful thinking.
Another said: "Imagine waking up and checking ur bank and you've only spent £69, I f***in wish."

Some agreed with Hinal's point, though, saying they would use the money to have an even better time than drunkenly stumbling around a dingy club in town.
One wrote: "People saying memories and money but I'd rather save the £7k and split that into 3-5 holidays with better memories not half-drunk ones."
