Yesterday (25 February), the news broke that Bill Gates had admitted to having affairs with Russian women.
The tech billionaire faced a number of new allegations following the release of files relating to Jeffrey Epstein’s case. This included that he had caught an ‘STI from Russian girls’.
Gates was married to Melinda Gates for 27 years until 2021 and has called it a ‘huge mistake’ that he spent time with the disgraced financier.
The Microsoft co-founder has not been accused of any wrongdoing by any of the late sex offender’s victims and has said he did and saw ‘nothing illicit’.

An email from the Epstein files reveals that the paedophile sent a brutal email about Gates’ affairs before his death in a New York cell in 2019.

According to a Wall Street Journal report, the tech billionaire told staff at the Gates Foundation earlier this week: “I apologise to other people who are drawn into this because of the mistake that I made.
"I did have affairs, one with a Russian bridge player who met me at bridge events, and one with a Russian nuclear physicist who I met through business activities."
Epstein is said to have paid the bridge player so she could attend a programming camp to further her career. But there is claims to suggest he had tried to force Gates to pay the money and more with the threat of exposing his affairs.
A Gates spokesperson previously claimed Epstein had ‘tried unsuccessfully to leverage a past relationship to threaten Mr. Gates’.
And in a July 2017 email released as part of the files, Epstein made a number of allegations as he branded the tech boss as ‘so cheap’ for his treatment of a mistress.
“After I sent her that note she said she had little money, couldn’t afford air conditioner, was living on a friends couch. Really needed money. I sent her some,” he emailed Gates’ advisor Boris Nikolic.

He continued to refer to Gates as ‘nuts’ as he added: “His former girl. Can’t afford air con. Can’t afford to travel to bridge. The richest man in the world is so cheap, his former bridge girl and toy, lives on a friends sofa.”
Gates’ spokesperson previously said that the tech boss never paid Epstein.
During the town hall at the Gates Foundation this week, he added: "I did nothing illicit. I saw nothing illicit.
"To be clear I never spent any time with victims, the women around him."
Speaking to LADbible, the Gates Foundation said: "This was a scheduled townhall with employees, which Bill does twice a year.
"In the conversation, Bill answered questions submitted by foundation staff on a range of issues, including the release of the Epstein files, the foundation's work in AI, and the future of global health. In the townhall, Bill spoke candidly, addressing several questions in detail, and took responsibility for his actions."
