Bill Gates has spoken out following claims made against him in the recent release of files relating to Jeffrey Epstein's case.
Among the three million new set of files that have been released, it was alleged that the Microsoft co-founder caught an 'STD from Russian girls'.
Gates has not been accused of wrongdoing by any of Epstein's victims and it is not an indication of so for people to be named or pictured in the files relating to Epstein’s case, and many have denied this.
This latest release of documents (with three million pages, images and videos) contains allegations against public figures like Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor as well as the tech billionaire who apparently met with the disgraced financier to discuss philanthropy work.

Speaking in an interview with Australia's Nine News today (4 February), he said: "The focus was always, he knew a lot of very rich people and he was saying he could get them to give money to global health."

Following allegations of his relationship with the late sex offender, Gates continued: "You know, in retrospect that was a dead end and I was foolish to spend time with him. I was one of many people who regret ever knowing him.
"Apparently, Jeffrey wrote an email to himself. That email was never sent. The email is, you know, false.
"I don't know what his thinking was there. Every minute I spent with him, I regret and I apologise that I did that.
"I was only at dinners... I never went to the island, I never met any women, and so, you know, the more that comes out, the more clear it'll be, that although the time was a mistake, it had nothing to do with that kind of behaviour."
In emails drafted by Epstein in July 2013, he alleged Gates had contracted an 'STD' as a 'consequence' of the tycoon having 'sex with Russian girls'.

Sent from the financier's account and delivered back to the same one, one message addressed to 'Bill' read: "To add insult to the injury you then subsequently with tears in your eyes, implore me to please delete the emails regarding your STD, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda, and the description of your penis."
Before this new interview, a statement from a spokesperson for Gates said: "These claims - from a proven, disgruntled liar - are absolutely absurd and completely false.
"The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein's frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame."
And during an NPR podcast, his ex-wife Melinda French Gates said him being named in new files dredged up 'painful times in my marriage'.
She said: "I am so happy to be away from all the muck."
