The boyfriend of a woman who was mauled to death by an alligator has revealed the final message she shared with him before she died.
Brittany Clark, 31, had been out in Little Big Econ State Forest in Central Florida in the US with her partner when she was attacked by the alligator on 28 June.
Clark, her boyfriend Chance Allison, and roommate Jayden Hernandez were in approximately three feet of water in the Econlockhatchee River when the 13-foot alligator struck.
Allison described how the animal had come 'out of absolutely nowhere', seizing hold of Clark in its jaws.

“We were smiling and talking and then it was complete chaos,” he said.
Clark sustained severe injuries in the attack, with an audio recording of an emergency dispatch obtained by CBS12 saying that she had lost one of her arms.
Her family have set up a fundraiser on GoFundMe to cover the cost of bringing her home.

Emergency responders arrived and took her to hospital, but tragically she died on the way.
Now, Allison has revealed that one of the last things his partner had said to him was to make sure he looked after their dog, a German Shepherd called Hokie.
“While we were waiting for emergency services to arrive Brittany just told me to make sure I took care of Hokie,” Allison, 30, told The New York Post.
“It was one of the last things she said to me," he said. "I can’t recall anything else."
He had desperately tried to pull the alligator off Clark, a bulldozer driver, during the struggle.
Allison, 30, explained that he wanted to speak out about the incident as 'I just want the facts to be right', saying that he is 'no way, shape or form wanting any of the attention out of this'.

“I keep seeing negative stuff about us and things that aren’t true that keep getting out there," he said, denying claims that an unidentified hiker told them not to enter the water.
“We talked to one person on the way in and all he said that I heard was that he used to bring his dogs out here," said Allison. "I don’t know anything else that he said but that’s all I can recall. If he said it, it wasn’t vocal enough for us to catch it.”
Paying tribute to her friend, Hernandez wrote: “It was NOT her time at all, we had so many plans, and it’s not ok whatsoever but it will be ok eventually.
“I wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone, my heart goes out to anyone that knew her because yall know that she was a beautiful unforgettable soul.”
