A protester donning a papier-mâché head resembling Charlie Kirk has sparked outrage after rocking up to Turning Point USA's latest event.
Footage shared on social media shows the unidentified man suddenly dropping to the floor in what appeared to be a reenactment of the moment the political activist, 31, was fatally struck with a bullet last September.
While these antics were unfolding outside of the building where Turning Point USA (TPUSA) Women’s Leadership Summit was being held last week, Kirk's widow Erika was preparing to take to the stage.
The right-wing organisation that was founded by Kirk and Bill Montgomery hosted a conference in San Antonio, Texas, on Friday (5 June).

According to TPUSA, the event at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter brought together 'women of all ages to strengthen their minds, cultivate wellness, step boldly into their purpose, and anchor their spirits in faith'.
Some of the folks who crowded outside apparently didn't get the memo about this, though.

A gang of demonstrators gathered outside the venue to make their feelings about the Kirks known - and footage of one man's strange stunt has since gone viral.
In video shared to X, the bloke can be seen wearing a papier-mâché head that bears a resemblance to Kirk.
He also appears to be sporting a t-shirt sporting the word 'Freedom', which resembles what the late father-of-two was wearing when he was shot dead.
The protestor then dramatically drops to the pavement - and people think he was mimicking the moment that Kirk was gunned down at Utah Valley University in 2025.
Tyler Robinson, 22, was charged with Kirk's murder after turning himself into authorities.
TPUSA contributor, Jack Posobiec, claimed that the man was 'recreating and reenacting' Kirk's 'heinous murder' when discussing the incident during an appearance on Fox News.

"When people tell you who they are, believe them," the political activist and TV host said. "The left is isn’t out there feeling sorry for the murder of Charlie Kirk, they’re not apologising for it, they’re out there celebrating it.
"There was even an individual outside of our event last night who was dressed as Charlie, recreating and reenacting his heinous murder just nine months ago," Posobiec went on. And ultimately, what is it? This is resentment."
Posobiec claimed that people 'hate' the idea of TPUSA 'showing young people specifically a different path forward'.
"Not from hating their country, from hating men, from hating women, from hating capitalism, from hating innovation, to actually loving their country, building loving families...and that’s exactly why they’re attacking Erika Kirk and our entire team," he said.
TPUSA's spokesperson Matt Shupe also said of the actions of those outside the event: "It's a free country. If a few protestors want to waste their weekend, shouting vile obscenities and making fools of themselves outside of an event with 3,000 young, positive, patriotic women, they can have at it."

Erika, who became the CEO of TPUSA following her husband's death, also got an earful from members of the audience when she took to the stage at the Women’s Leadership Summit last week.
While she was delivering some remarks, a heckler was heard yelling out: "Erika Kirk protects paedophiles!"
In response, the 37-year-old diverted her speech as she told the woman: "It’s important to remember that happiness comes and goes - and I pray that you find it. That’s an important moment, because that just shows duty to faithfulness gives life meaning, and we must pray for our enemies and those that do not feel like their life has meaning.
"And that’s a perfect example of that. A perfect example. You pray for your enemies. You pray for those that persecute you."
Days before the event took place, a 26-year-old man named Jacob Wenske was arrested in Texas for allegedly making threats towards Erika and other speakers in attendance. He also allegedly made a bomb threat.
He was booked into jail and his bond was set at $120,000 after being charged with two felony counts of making a terroristic threat, causing public fear.
