The UN has issued an update after Donald Trump made a series of claims during his speech addressing the assembled nations.
Trump spoke at length covering a wide variety of topics during his time on the stand.
Despite the important challenges facing the chamber, including Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Israel's genocide in Gaza, wars in Sudan and Myanmar, and climate change to name a few, Trump took time out of his speech to address two concerns - the teleprompter and the escalator.
Standing at the podium which has hosted leaders from around the world, Trump said: "Whoever is operating this teleprompter is in big trouble."

In a surreal moment, he then began rambling about an escalator at the UN, and how he and first lady Melania were in 'great shape'.
He said: "All I got from the United Nations was an escalator that, on the way up, stopped right in the middle. If the first lady wasn't in great shape, she would have fallen, but she's in great shape. We're both in good shape."
Trump also claimed to have 'ended' seven wars around the world, ranting: "I ended seven wars, dealt with the leaders of each and every one of these countries, and never even received a phone call from the United Nations."
The US president even accused the UN of spearheading 'global migration' and warned them: "Your countries are going to hell."

In their usual measured and restrained style, Trump's supporters launched a string of accusations toward the UN since the speech, with the escalator incident especially drawing the fury of White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
She said: "If we find that these were UN and staffers who were purposefully trying to trip up, literally trip up the president and the first lady of the United States, well, there better be accountability for those people."
But now, the UN itself has issued a response to Trump's bizarre, off-script rant to address the concerns he raised.
In a shocking development, they have suggested that it was Trump's own team that is to blame for the escalator debacle.

UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said that a videographer from the US delegation, who had gone ahead of the president and first lady, triggered an emergency stop mechanism at the top of the escalator.
"The safety mechanism is designed to prevent people or objects accidentally being caught and stuck in or pulled into the gearing," he explained in a statement, adding: "The videographer may have inadvertently triggered the safety function."
As for the teleprompter issue, The Deputy Spokesperson of the UN Secretary General told Entertainment Weekly: "The White House, not the UN, was in charge of the teleprompter that was used.
"Please ask them about what happened with their teleprompter. Thanks."
The call, it seems, was coming from inside the White House.
