Conspiracy theories are constantly swirling around Donald Trump, an occupational hazard of holding the most powerful position on the planet, and the latest once again concerns his health.
The US President was snapped on video slapping the side of his leg while walking on Monday, September 7, once again sending social media into overdrive about the state of his health.
There were even wild last week that Trump, 80, was dead or was set to step down from the White House as JD Vance was hosting a press briefing.

Despite obviously not being true, speculation surrounding Trump's health refuses to dissipate.
On Tuesday, he was seen slapping his leg again in a clip posted by the official White House rapid response account after Air Force One landed at Joint Base Andrews.
As Trump disembarked and headed down the steps, footage appears to show him tapping his right leg before climbing into a waiting car.
It's not the first time it's happened.
Social media have theories for why Trump slaps his leg
Back in early August, Trump was spotted repeatedly slapping his leg in a clip that went viral on social media, days on from being pictured with heavy bruising on his forearm while attending the LIV Golf New York tournament, reported Daily Beast.
White House spokesperson Davis Ingle hit back at the outlet's report by stating Trump is: "The sharpest, most accessible, and energetic president in American history,"
However, the internet posed several theories as to what the leg slapping could indicate.

One X user asked about the President, "Why is he always slapping his side now?" to which several users gave their thoughts.
One person shared a screenshot which explained that constant leg tapping by an elderly person is typically "an attempt to relieve physical discomfort, a symptom of an underlying neurological condition, or a behavioural manifestation of cognitive decline."
It was added that repetitive actions are often a method of self-soothing.
Another user explained that it was a 'physical therapy technique' that therapists sometimes teach to patients.
A search result explained that such techniques are used to break abnormal muscle tension patterns caused by neurological issues like a stroke, brain injury or Parkinson's disease.
It's said to help coordinate movement.
There is no official indication that Trump has suffered from any such medical episode, and Trump has previously dismissed the suggestion he has suffered any mental decline by claiming he has been 'acing' cognitive tests.
The only ailment Trump has officially been diagnosed with is chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a common condition which causes blood to pull in the legs as veins struggle to take it back to the heart.
Trump has been spotted with bruising on his arm
The bruising on his arms and hands though, which was spotted as he wore a white polo shirt while attending his Trump National Bedminster golf course in New Jersey last month, continues to draw attention and concern.
Former press secretary Karoline Leavitt previously told Daily Beast that it was a result of all the handshakes Trump has to do.
"President Trump is a man of the people and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history," she said.

Trump himself has blamed his daily aspirin, which thins the blood, as well as the leg condition he was diagnosed with in July 2025.
Although he was pictured giving a speech at the White House the day before, some took JD Vance hosting a briefing on September 3, the first since July 23, as evidence that something was afoot with Trump.
However, the president rarely takes part in such press briefings and it had no significance on the president either way.
LADbible has approached the White House for comment.
