Harrowing 911 call made from influencer's home before she was killed by husband after paedophilia accusations

New details have emerged about the final moments of influencer Sara Gilson before she was allegedly killed by her estranged husband, just weeks after she publicly accused him of being a paedophile.

Gilson, 43, and her husband Jeremiah 'Shawn' Duffey, 48, were both found dead with gunshot wounds on 23 July after police responded to an emergency call at her home in Owasso, Oklahoma.

Now, newly released 911 audio has revealed the chilling moments before police arrived at the property.

According to dispatch recordings obtained by People, a child inside the home made an emergency call shortly after 11:15pm.

In the audio, a 911 dispatcher can be heard updating first responders, saying: "I’m trying to reach him back, but I could hear a female in the background screaming and crying. Some sort of loud bang in the background."

Attempts to call the number back were unsuccessful.

A short time after, the dispatcher also referenced a 'male that we were looking for a few weeks ago after he got caught kissing a juvenile,' relaying information to officers.

At about 11:18pm, police told dispatchers that they had arrived at the property.

Inside the home, Gilson and Duffey were both found dead with gunshot wounds.

The investigation remains ongoing, although police believe the pair died in a murder-suicide, according to NBC News.

The tragedy came less than two weeks after Gilson posted a TikTok claiming she had 'just found out' that her 'soon to be ex husband' was a paedophile.

The video, which followed a viral Netflix documentary trend, quickly spread across social media.

She captioned the video: "I wish I was joking."

According to court documents dated 9 June, seen by NBC News, police were told Duffey, who coached girls' basketball, had allegedly inappropriately touched a girl during an elementary school event.

The girl and her mother later reported the incident to police after another team coach witnessed what happened and alerted the girl's mum.

Police said in a statement on Saturday (25 July): "Similar conduct by this coach towards this particular juvenile player was reported to have occurred over an extended period of time, in multiple law enforcement jurisdictions, across multiple states prior to this incident."

Separate court filings submitted on 10 June also alleged that Duffey had inappropriate contact with a 15-year-old girl on a youth basketball team he coached.

The girl's mother claimed he kissed and touched her daughter, sent her messages, invited her to his hotel room during a tournament and allegedly offered her money to keep quiet. The allegations formed part of a request for a protective order.

Gilson was granted her own emergency protective order against Duffey on 10 July, after alleging that he had a gun, had threatened suicide, and had gone 'on the run', The Oklahoman reports.

The order required Duffey to stay at least 100 yards away from Gilson and her home.

The Owasso Police Department has not publicly released any further updates on the investigation.
