JD Vance's wife, Usha, has spoken out after rumours were sparked about their relationship when she was seen without a wedding ring in public.
Usha has been married to the vice president since 2014 and the pair share three children together, while she became the first Indian-American second lady when Donald Trump was inaugurated earlier this year.
The 39-year-old's parents arrived in the US from India but she has still had to deal with her husband and the president's extremely strong opinions on immigration, which have seen thousands sent to one of the world's worst prisons or even classified as 'dead' since Trump was reinstated in the White House.
There has also been some controversy in recent weeks with Erika Kirk, the widow of political activist Charlie, and her interaction with the vice president following her husband's assassination.

After both Vance and Trump spoke at the Turning Point USA founder's funeral, Erika praised the VP as she was officially made CEO of the conservative organisation.
She said: "No one will ever replace my husband. But I do see some similarities of my husband in JD — in Vice President JD Vance. I do. And that's why I am so blessed to be able to introduce him tonight."
Erika then embraced Vance, something which was later branded as 'inappropriate' by large parts of the internet.
On the vice president, Erika added: "He's been a blessing. He and Usha, they are the most incredible people. Incredible. With such genuine love. I mean, just everything they did for us was so humanised. They were there for us. They've been there for us."
So, while Erika did thank Usha in that particular speech, there appears to have been some rumours whirling around, and those rumours have only gathered more traction after the second lady was spotted without her wedding ring recently.

Usha visited Camp Lejeune, a military training facility in Jacksonville, North Carolina, alongside First Lady Melania Trump on 19 November. However, she was spotted without her ring, which many thought seemed strange for a public appearance.
As speculation once again surfaced on social media, the normally private Usha opted to make a statement to the press via a spokesperson explaining exactly why she wasn't wearing her ring on that occasion.
The spokesperson told People that Usha is 'a mother of three young children, who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths, and forgets her ring sometimes'.
It seems as if the pair do have some other disagreements however, as the vice president has spoken about wanting his wife to convert to Catholicism as he did in his 30s.

During a Turning Point USA event last month, Vance said: "Everybody has to come to their own arrangement here. The way that we've come to our arrangement is she's my best friend. We talk to each other about this stuff. So, we've decided to raise our kids Christian.
"Most Sundays, Usha will come with me to church. Do I hope, eventually, that she is somehow moved by the same thing that I was moved in by church?
"Yeah, honestly, I do wish that, because I believe in the Christian gospel and I hope eventually my wife comes to see it the same way.
"But if she doesn't, then God says everybody has free will and so that doesn't cause a problem for me."
LADbible Group has contacted Usha's rep for further comment.
