Kim Kardashian and Ray J reportedly reached a secret settlement over their notorious sex tape three years ago.

The former couple are currently locked in a legal battle and the intimate footage of the pair that went public back in March 2007 is at the centre of it.

Now, an agreement which they reportedly both signed in 2023 has reportedly surfaced.

Last October, Kim and her mother Kris Jenner sued the 'One Wish' singer over comments he made while appearing in a documentary related to the crimes of Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

Ray J claimed that it 'would be appropriate' to slap the famous family with racketeering charges.

During a livestream which took place a few months later, the 45-year-old also alleged: "The federal RICO I’m about to drop on Kris and Kim is about to be crazy...the feds is coming," while saying it would be 'worse than Diddy'.

Kim said that these said these 'false' allegations caused damage to her 'wellbeing and reputation' in court documents suing him for defamation.

The reality star and her momager Kris have insisted that 'no such federal investigation exists', while they branded his claims that they orchestrated the release of the sex tape as 'lies'.

"His claim that I had a plan with my mother and others to release a sex tape, defraud the public and file a ‘fake’ lawsuit against the porn company that released it to ‘create buzz’ is a lie," Kim said in the legal filing.

Kris also said the claims were 'deeply offensive' and that they have 'haunted her for decades', while adding that she was 'absolutely heartbroken, crushed and devastated as a mother to see my daughter in this situation where her most intimate and private moments were exposed to the world'.

Subsequently, Ray J launched a countersuit accusing the mother-and-daughter duo of leaking the infamous sex tape.

He has claimed that Kim, 45, and Kris, 70, violated a former agreement they had made by discussing the raunchy video during an episode of their Hulu reality series, The Kardashians.

The contents of this settlement has now reportedly come to light.

According to TMZ, the stars and their mothers - Kris and Sonja Norwood - were all tied up in the agreement, which is titled 'Confidential Settlement Agreement and Mutual General Release'.

"The parties have agreed to enter this agreement addressing all past, current, or future claims, disputes, causes of action, defences, and alleged losses, including without limitation, all claims and defences arising out of or concerning the subject matter of the sex tape," it is said to state.

All those involved reportedly agreed not to 'disparage or impugn the character, reputation, integrity, honesty, business or business practices' of one another.

The document is also said to detail how Ray J had agreed not to go after Disney or Hulu in relation to their row. TMZ claims that Ray J was paid $6million to sign it in April 2023.

According to the music artist, Kim and Kris contacted him three years ago to sign the settlement which forbid them both from speaking about the sex tape.

Ray J claims he was informed that if this term was broken by either party, there would be financial penalties - and he reckons the pair did exactly that just a month afterwards, when they spoke about the sex tape on The Kardashians.

Memorably, Kim was once left in tears after an 'inappropriate' meme referencing the tape popped up on her son Saint's iPad while he was playing Roblox.

Kim and Ray J dated from 2003 to 2006 and the footage of their night of passion went public a year after their breakup.
