Man’s body discovered stuffed inside school chimney after complaints of foul smell
The body of an aspiring rapper was found wedged in a school chimney with major investigations now ongoing into the tragic mystery.
Matthew Collado, aged 29, had vanished from his home in New York, back in May before his remains were found severely decomposed almost two months later.
His heartbroken family are now desperate for answers after the horror discovery on 30 June, with police conducting investigations into his disappearance.
Matthew's body was found eventually in the smokestack in Glendale after an exterminator went to investigate reports of a foul smell, according to authorities.

The aspiring rapper, also known as A.K Nash, was reported missing by his family and had not made contact since the day before Mother's Day.
A spokeswoman for the city medical examiner’s office confirmed on Thursday (17 September) that the cause and manner of Collado’s death are both 'pending further study.'
His grieving mum Sophia Wood told the Daily News that she had no idea how her son died or ended up inside the chimney, explaining that he was 'afraid of heights'.
“There’s a void in my gut. I walk around in a daze. I still haven’t believed it yet," she told the publication.
Wood explained that she hadn't heard from her son since the day before Mother’s Day, when he said he’d spend the holiday with her at his grandmother’s nursing home.
However when he never showed up, he was reported as missing and an investigation was launched.
“My son was afraid of heights so him climbing up there? That is not my son,” she added.
“He hates fire. He hates smoke. A chimney? It doesn’t jive with my son and who he was.
"He's an amazing son. He's mommy's little boy.
"He's always, 'Hi mom. I love you mom' … He used to go visit my mom all the time in the nursing home."
A pest control worker had discovered his rotting remains when he was called to investigate a foul smell coming from the chimney.
It was unclear how long the body had been stuck inside the chimney but students at the school had noticed a 'rancid smell' for a number of weeks, it was reported.
It was on 29 July that the Medical Examiner's office contacted Wood saying that dental records proved it was her son in the chimney after speculation it originally wasn't him.
