It's one of the most well-known relationships in music history, but what is the truth behind Elvis and Priscilla Presley?
Elvis and Priscilla first met during Elvis' time serving in the military, with the rock 'n' roll star being sent to West Germany in 1958.
The following year, Elvis was stationed at Bad Nauheim, where he first encountered Priscilla, who was just 14 years old at the time.
Priscilla Beaulieu is the daughter of an air force captain, and they had met at a party he had been hosting.

At the time of their first meeting, the celebrity Elvis was 24 years old.
The pair would go on to marry in 1967, and Priscilla said that they didn't sleep together until she was 21 and Elvis was 32.
Priscilla has spoken frequently about the marriage, which ended in divorce four years before Elvis was found unresponsive on the bathroom floor of his mansion by his fiancée, Ginger Alden.
Speaking to PEOPLE in 1985, Priscilla opened up about the relationship.
She said: "Each night that I was with him, he entrusted a little more of himself — his doubts, his secrets and his frustrations.
"It was a lot to expect someone my age to understand, but I tried. I listened to his desires to become a great actor like his idols Marlon Brando, James Dean, Karl Malden and Rod Steiger."
She again opened up about the relationship in June 2022, telling Good Morning America: "He was fun to be with. We had fun everywhere we went."
In her new memoir, Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis, Priscilla said she moved into the infamous Graceland estate in May 1963.
"Though Elvis and I had started a relationship when I was fourteen, it didn’t become a romantic relationship until I was seventeen," the 80-year-old wrote.
"We waited to have sex until he married me at twenty-one. The fact remains, however, that there were ten years between us," she continued.

She told Good Morning America: "I liked him very much. I certainly felt safe. We cannot compare it to today. We still had morals, high standards. There was a lot of care."
She also said: "I truly cherish the great times. As you grow up, there are always fears and insecurities. But as you get older you understand it all."
But the relationship also had its strains, with Priscilla explaining in an interview with PEOPLE in 1978 that she had felt her own struggles and issues were secondary in the relationship.
"My life was his life," she said. "He had to be happy. My problems were secondary. I want to grow. I want to do things."
