Riley Reid has opened up on why she hates her close friends and family calling her 'Riley'.

One of the most recognisable adult stars on the internet, 33-year-old Reid has become one of the top names in pornography in her career spanning more than a decade.

But one thing she cannot stand away from the cameras is people calling her 'Riley'.

Despite winning 45 awards for her work in front of the camera and having 2.1 million followers on Instagram, the mother-of-one likes to separate work from home in one very particular way.

And it's for a few good reasons. Speaking about her becoming a mother while still being active in the industry, Reid sat down with fellow adult star and friend, Adam22, for the No Jumper podcast.

"It's definitely a real fact that my career will affect my kid at some point in some degree and it is up to me as a parent to try and coach it in the most appropriate manner possible," she said.

"And so, I worry in certain senses, like for example when you signed our baby shower card you signed it to Riley."

Responding, Adam22 said: "Whoops."

With him and his wife, a fellow adult star known as Lena The Plug, being close friends with Reid, she wants them to use her real name - Ashley Matthews.

She continued: "Stuff like that is the things that I think of because we are family friends right and so I'm like, 'yo, Adam you can't be calling me Riley'.

Especially, you know, I don't want [Adam22's son] Parker to grow up calling me Riley only now because I have a daughter right, and I want Parker and Emma [her daughter] to be friends."

On top of that, Reid said that she didn't want to confuse her daughter at a young age if she heard family or friends calling her 'Riley' when she knows her as Ashley.

Reid said: "I don't want to lie to her either and be like 'that's my rap name' and then like years later she's like, 'mom, you lied to me', so I have to find a fine line and I haven't exactly navigated it yet.

"She's only six months old, I have some time."

Reid has spoken openly on many podcast appearances over the years, with one recent interview on the Shadow Banned podcast seeing her explain what the most attractive thing a man can do in the bedroom is.

Reid said: "I personally like to start with clothes on. I don’t think that you should come in and start butt a** naked - like, drop your towel bulls***.

"There’s no f***ing foreplay, or anything to play with. I can’t tease you with your socks or anything. Like, maybe I’ll take them and shove them in my mouth."

She continued: "Avoid any of the hyper-stimulating areas until almost the last possible moment, because that will get them so excited that they’re going to be like 'f***ing touch me."
