One of the most-watched porn actors of all time revealed why she no longer films adult content with guys.
Riley Reid was 19 when she traded in her job as a stripper to work full-time in the adult film industry.
She quickly became a household name in the pornography world and has gone on to win over 50 awards, including the XBIZ Award for Female Performer of the Year in 2014 and the AVN Award for Female Performer of the Year in 2016.
The 34-year-old also earns a six-figure monthly income on her OnlyFans page, which she started in 2020.

On her way to achieving pretty much everything she could in porn, Riley has been pretty candid about her experiences in the industry, including one particularly ‘disgusting’ moment that almost made her reconsider her career, and she made the decision a while ago to no longer perform with male co-stars.

During a 2021 episode of Jordyn Jones' What They Don't Tell You podcast, she recalled facing various dating difficulties as a result of her job.
Reid, who has been married to Latvian free-runner Pasha Petkuns since 2021, said it was hard because her potential partners would have a preconceived idea of how she should act, especially as her popularity grew.
"Especially as I grew a name for myself, it was hard to meet someone who [didn't] know who I was," Reid - whose real name is Ashley Mathews - said.

"And so there was always that, like, fandom. They met me first in their mind as Riley, so it was really hard to like reverse and teach them that I'm Ashley."

Opening up about one of her previous relationships, she told the Impaulsive podcast that a male partners once made her feel 'disgusting' because of what she did for a living.
"He made me feel like maybe I should quit and stuff... He didn't want to kiss me when I came home from work. So it made me feel like a disgusting person," she added.
Riley said it made her want to stop doing 'boy-girl porn'.

"It was a choice I made on my own," the adult film star said. "But I made that choice because I was lonely and I wanted love and affection and stuff, and I was like, 'I'm not gonna be able to find this while I'm performing'."
Over the years, she has diversified her content into creating her own agency and launching a clothing brand, and more recently, Riley announced her plans to transition from the adult industry into comedy in the future.
