Savannah Guthrie has posted another video, pleading for the safe return of her mother Nancy, who was abducted from her home two weeks ago.
Last week, the FBI announced it had detained a man in connection with the abduction of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, who went missing on 1 February, later confirming he had been released without charge.
The TODAY host has now issued another message for her mother's kidnapper, telling them 'it's never too late,' while urging them to 'do the right thing.'
"I wanted to come on, it’s been two weeks since our mom was taken and I just wanted to come on and say that we still have hope and we still believe," she said in the video on Instagram.

"And I wanted to say that to whoever has her or knows where she is, that it’s never too late. And you’re not lost or alone, and it is never too late to do the right thing."

Savannah continued: “And we are here, and we believe in the essential goodness of every human being, and it’s never too late.”
The elderly woman is believed to have been taken from her home in Tucson, Arizona, against her will, with her abductor publishing a 'ransom note' aimed at her children, allegedly requesting millions of Bitcoin, in exchange for her release.
Savannah and her siblings have insisted all along that they are willing to talk with the kidnappers but need 'proof of life' first.
Investigators involved in the case are currently analysing DNA found on a glove that was recovered near the scene, as it appears to match the garments being worn by a suspect who appeared in doorbell footage captured the night Nancy went missing.
The glove was found in a field around two miles away from the 84-year-old's home, with the FBI announcing they have already received preliminary DNA results but are waiting on 'quality control and official confirmation' before they enter the results into their database.
This update comes after the doorbell camera footage was released, showing a masked man walking towards the camera and attempting to cover it, before blocking the view using brush from the front garden.
From this footage, investigators have been able to determine that the suspect is between 5ft 9in and 5ft 10in tall with an average build.
The FBI has now increased the reward for information about Nancy's disappearance from $50,000 to $100,000.
