Sophie Rain has pulled out the receipts to prove she really does make as much money on OnlyFans as she claims.

Last year, she made over $43 million (£31 million) on the platform but faced accusations that she was 'faking' this number as many couldn't believe she could have made so much money.

Rain hasn't been shy about sharing the details of her earnings to prove she can back up her claims with money, with her even showing that she had a 'top spender' last year who had forked over a whopping $4.7 million (£3.4 million) on her OnlyFans content.

While this might raise questions over how people (men, mostly) have such disposable income to be spending here, Rain has been insistent that 'nothing is being faked' and all her numbers are genuine.

While she earned about $43 million in a year, the OnlyFans model showed her 18 month earnings during an appearance on David Dobrik's vlog and revealed that she'd made a whopping $82 million.

Or $82,899,873.57 (£61,362,900.92) to be precise about it, which is a lot of moolah.

A screenshot showing her earnings was shown on the vlog, while someone else figured out that the OnlyFans star was raking in $28,472 (£21,000) an hour over that period of time with those figures.

Rain said she was 'nervous' because she felt like 'all of this could disappear tomorrow', but unless she's got the kind of spending habits on par with a small country she ought to be alright.

It's worth noting that this $82 million figure is the gross, so that's the total amount of cash coming her way rather than what she'll end up with, as taxes and expenses will extract a chunk of those earnings.

The top earners on OnlyFans

While there's clearly money to be made on OnlyFans, 76 percent of the cash spent goes to just 0.1 percent of content creators according to OnlyGuider, while the average creator only makes about $1,300 (£960) a year.

Sophie Rain's $43 million in a year is impressive for OnlyFans, though Iggy Azalea claimed she'd made $48 million (£35.5 million) in a year and so surpassed Rain in annual earnings, though she's since quit the platform so Rain has made more overall.

Cardi B made $46.7 million on the platform, while it's estimated that viral star Bhad Bhabie has raked in about $59 million (£43.6 million) during her time on there.

The actor Bella Thorne was reckoned to have made $37.3 million (£27.6 million) from her time on OnlyFans, while Belle Delphine is estimated to have earned about $34 million (£25 million) in the past year.
