The parents of a teenager whose son was missing went on to learn the shocking truth about his quest for perfection as the 19-year-old admits his 'radical' looksmaxxing journey.
Willaim Munro of Ontario, Canada, reveals how he managed to fly from his North American home, to Los Angeles to attend the controversial 'Camp Looksmax', run by Clavicular.
Clavicular is an influencer who has been embroiled in the rising 'looksmaxxing' trend which saw him smash his face with a hammer and get plastic surgery in his mission to enhance his looks.
However, he was recently charged with rape, drugging a person for sex and providing alcohol to a minor, as prosecutors in Massachusetts filed charges against the 20-year-old, real name Braden Peters, per The Bulwark.

Court records seen by The Bulwark state that the alleged crimes happened on 23 May, 2025 – which Clavicular denies.

According to ABC News, the influencer is set to be arraigned on the charges of rape.
While the charges were ongoing, Munro booked his £5,000 place at the camp and £2,000 plane tickets, which he paid for using money he got doing 'odd jobs'.
Munro was just one of 15 young men who attended the seven-day event, as he said of his choice, per USA Today: “It was a super radical decision. I just thought, I’m a young kid. Money comes and goes. So might as well get the experience out.”
According to the outlet, when his parents called him at the airport after having noticed he was missing from their home, he handed them a 'really basic explanation' of looksmaxxing but told them he'd won a giveaway from a YouTuber to attend the camp.
Since visiting the camp, he says that despite being a 'decent-looking guy,' he needs to 'put some more focus' on his 'actual aesthetic face-wise' and wants to undergo major surgery.
The first week of Camp Looksmax was livestreamed 24/7 on Clavicular’s channel from 1 October onwards, reports the NY Post.
While the influencer came up in what is known as the 'manosphere' space – an area of the internet where misogynistic practices is rife – Munro claims the camp (which is in a mansion) helped him approach women differently.
“You go see a hot chick. Go try to hit on her, like, it doesn’t matter,” he said. “You just got to go out, talk to people, make connections. You know, you see people you think are cool. Just go say anything. Go say hi.”

But while many might be horrified to learn their child has flown to another country to learn about bone smashing, Munro says his mates 'think it’s real cool' that he went to the camp, as 'probably every person' his age knows who Clavicular is.
Over on Clavicular's website, he claims to help men with 'ascension' after improving their looks, offering mentorship, a 'free community' of like-minded people and a second run of his camp which alleges: "Camp I sold out in 72 hours. Clav wants the second one to be even better, and he hasn’t decided how many more he’ll run. Dates are TBD while he and Hex put the next LA experience together."
