A US flight attendant has shared the impressive amount she takes home each month, despite only working 16 days in that timeframe.
Sharing details of your bank balance or pay cheque online probably isn't the best idea. Still, it's certain to get people talking, as Georgia Toffolo found out recently after revealing the contents of her joint account with millionaire husband James Watt.
However, Josette, known on Instagram as @jo_settle_down, has sparked a debate after detailing how much she earns while working several days less than your average Monday-to-Friday employee.

Considering she probably has to deal with 'dangerous' influencers on a daily basis, it's easy to see why she was looking upset at first, but clearly the money has swayed her opinion. However - as the famous saying goes - if you have a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life.
Anyway, Josette shared a reel on social media of her looking disgruntled before smiling again, with a caption that read: "Me getting sick of my job. Then I remember my check last month was $9,980.66 (around £7,500)."
This works out at just shy of £90k per year, which might just about see you survive in London. It's also a great deal more on average than UK flight attendants, according to Indeed. What a fantastic country we live in.
The flight attendant, from Albuquerque, New Mexico, added in the caption: "For context I have been at Southwest (SW) for 14 years (first four were in reservations). This was my gross pay. I work about 150 trips ('hours') a month."

She explained: "Pay does vary depending on how long you been at SW and how many 'hours' you work. Starting pay is $30.75 (£23) an 'hour' and top out pay after 13 years is $77.43 (£58).
"We are also paid a per diem of $2.90 (£2.17) every hour for the entire time you are away at work. We are also paid extra for flying lead, if we are over a certain amount of passengers on board, and for longer flights. I will say I am very good at my schedule and get a lot of premiums (time and a half)."
Taking to the comments section of her post, one user asked: "How often do you go home or do you choose to continually work? Met one person years ago who did their best to stay out. Had a relatively humble home that she basically used as storage."
Josette replied, revealing she 'works about 16 days a month'.

She later clarified: "I am by no way saying every flight attendant makes this but some do and more. This is a job where you can work and much or as little as you want. Pay checks do vary depending on how much you work and how long you've been at the company."
As long as you're willing to work long hours, spend a lot of time on your feet and use a code word every time you think a passenger is attractive, then maybe signing up to be a flight attendant is the perfect job for you.
