When news reporters are trying to dig up information for potential stories, they sometimes have to get their hands dirty. Or very clean, in the case of this reporter for Aussie news programme A Current Affair, who got absolutely drenched while chasing a story on 'hellish' housing tenants. Watch:
Sam Cucchiara was working on a story about how a woman is so terrified of her neighbours that she's scared to leave the house in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

But when he tried to interview the alleged horror tenants, Rob and Sage, it seemed they didn't want to speak about the matter. Viral footage has been shown on the Channel 9 programme of Sam being absolutely drenched by a bloke holding a hose behind a gate in Blackburn.
Despite Sam's best efforts to learn more about their interactions with neighbour Margaret, he ended up being soaked.
Margaret, 59, is so terrified of her neighbours that she told A Current Affair: "I would not be surprised if they killed us. I would not be surprised at all."

The former researcher had to move into public housing after suffering a brain aneurysm.
She and her family have accused their next door neighbours and their mates of being verbally and physically threatening.
"I can't leave the house. I can't let my dog out, just to be out in the backyard. I can't garden, I can't do anything. I'm just trapped," Margaret said.
According to her daughter, Rachel, she has a panic attack every time she leaves the house because the residents and their friends are so intimidating.

Despite setting up loads of security cameras to catch them out, A Current Affair says the Department of Housing has been refusing to help.
Margaret and Rachel are on the waiting list to be moved but told the programme they are scared that they could be seriously injured.
Following the Channel 9 programme's story, the Department of Housing agreed to move the mother and daughter to a different location.
