TikToker @atlas_070 shared a clip of CCTV footage which appeared to show the woman walk up to the door with the food, set it down on the ground and take a snap as proof it had been delivered - so far so good, right?

Except just after she took the photo the woman then grabs the bag of food back up and heads towards her bike.

In an update, the customer explained that he got in touch with DoorDash who told him they had since let the worker go.

They also gave him a free meal by way of apology - but he says they managed to get the order wrong. Whoops. He's had a shocker, hasn't he?

Fellow TikTok users were left reeling by the bold-as-brass delivery woman, with one person saying: "I don't get this thought process.

"Why waste time driving there, taking a picture, stealing the food you don't know if you gonna like, losing your job."

Someone else said: "I'm a Dasher and I'm amazed how many drivers steal people's food, including when everyone has cameras now."

A third person joked: "Your order must have been good."

Others commented to say something similar had happened to them.

One man added: "Have had this happen a few times and this is why I tip cash and meet them at the door now."

This isn't the first time a delivery driver has been exposed for helping themselves to someone else's food.

In the clip, the bloke could be seen dropping off the meal at the door, taking a photo, and then snatching the bag back up again and walking away.

TikToker @barbeed0ll posted the video on her feed, writing: "Did you think cameras didn't exist?? Hope DoorDash fires you."

The clip was viewed thousands of times, as well as attracting plenty of comments.

One said: "People like this ruin it for other dashers."

Another user said: "As a delivery driver we don't claim her."
